Western Henan Plan is a plan for college students to volunteer to serve the western region, including Xuchang, Luohe, Luoyang, Sanmenxia in Nanyang and Zhengzhou. Xuchang, formerly known as Xuzhou, is a prefecture-level city in Henan Province, an important advanced manufacturing base in China and a famous historical and cultural city in Han and Wei Dynasties. Luohe is a prefecture-level city in Henan Province, a national food city and a regional transportation hub city approved by the Henan Provincial People's Government.
Luoyang is a prefecture-level city in Henan Province and a sub-central city of Central Plains urban agglomeration. It is located in the west of Henan Province, and Sanmenxia in Nanyang is located in the west of Henan Province, adjacent to Luoyang, the ancient capital of thousands of years in the east. Historically, it is the economic and cultural center at the junction of the three provinces. Zhengzhou is the capital of Henan Province, a megacity and the core city of the Central Plains urban agglomeration.
How many years is the validity period of the western planning service:
The volunteer service period of the Western Plan is flexible, and the first signing period is 1 year or 3 years. Volunteers who have signed up for 1 year can apply for extension of service to the service county project office in March next year after the service expires.
According to the spirit of the documents such as Notice on Fully Implementing the Project of Guiding College Graduates to Serve at the Grassroots Level in Rural Areas (Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security Fa [2009] No.42) and Notice on Carrying out the Work of Examining and Recruiting Civil Servants from College Students "Village Officials" and other grassroots project personnel, those who participate in the western plan to serve at the grassroots level and pass the examination at the end of the service can enjoy relevant preferential policies such as taking the relevant civil servant orientation examination.
All localities should, according to the new regulations of grassroots work experience that civil service examinations should have two years or more, and on the basis of maintaining the choice space of "service period 1 to three years", promote more voluntary service periods of more than two years.
According to the relevant regulations of the state, since 2009, the graduates who participated in the western plan and served for three years in rural grass-roots units below the county level in the western region will be compensated with corresponding tuition fees and student loans. If the service period is extended to 3 years after signing the contract for the first time 1 year, the tuition fee and student loan compensation policy will not be enjoyed. Specifically, the newly selected qualified volunteers apply to the graduate student management assistance center and other relevant institutions.
