Generally speaking, there are two kinds of self-introduction in the interview:
One is "label type", as long as one sentence: "My name is XXX", or add the test number, region, school and so on. Its function is to "self-report" in the process of video recording, so that the judges can identify it, which is equivalent to filling in the name and test number in the written test first. There is no skill in this introduction, so I won't say it here.
What I'm talking about here is another kind, that is, "speech style". It requires candidates to make an oral introduction for one or two minutes, about two or three hundred words. Its function is to understand the basic situation of candidates and assess their image temperament and language expression ability by the way. It is much more detailed than "labeling" and has certain skills. According to past experience, it is summarized as follows.
First, we should have specific materials, not show performances.
Self-introduction, as the name implies, is to introduce your basic situation, such as name, age, family, experience, specialty, personality and so on. And the examiner also takes this opportunity to have a detailed understanding and in-depth investigation of you. However, in the actual interview, it was found that many candidates did not meet the requirements at all. They didn't introduce themselves at all, they just put on a show. There are mainly the following problems.
First, there is no specific introduction.
When introducing yourself, the most common and serious problem is that the candidates don't introduce the specific situation at all, lacking the minimum elements and basic information. Many people just say "my name is XXX" at first, and then they completely digress. To put it bluntly, there is no personal fact. In other words, if "my name is XXX" is removed and everyone else can copy it, is it still called "self-introduction"? Others don't even mention their last name, where they live and their age geometry, but only say what they should say, such as "life", "ups and downs" and "dreams", which are completely irrelevant, flashy and purely for show.
Please remember: self-introduction is strictly self-introduction, your report to the school and the school's understanding of you. It depends entirely on materials and speaks with facts. When introducing, it is best that every sentence has its own characteristics, and it should only belong to you, not to others. It is a fact that it is best to have information points in every sentence when introducing, so it is necessary to make fewer comments and comments. As long as the materials are presented and "speak with facts", the judges will get the overall impression.
Second, there is only empty lyricism.
There is no specific introduction, only empty lyricism. As we all know, articles such as "introduction" should belong to the category of "expository articles". Without the introduction of materials, we have to rely on empty lyricism to support the scene. In particular, some "scholars" who are good at writing are eager to lay out materials and unilaterally pursue so-called "literary talent" and "philosophy", so they write elegant "lyric articles". Please see:
△ I am ordinary, but I don't want to spend my life in a matchbox: flying personality, youthful passion, cheerful personality, I always feel that I should spread my wings and fly!
△ Some people say that if you look at the world with a calm attitude and indifferent eyes, there will naturally be melancholy beauty or beautiful melancholy in the text. I said no.
△ I regard every morning with sunrise as a weekend morning. But when I found myself regressing, I began to indulge myself a little. I began to pack my things and start a long journey of life. ...
These words are very literary and romantic at first glance. In fact, they are all empty and have no actual content. They are quite a bit sickly and pretentious, revealing a strong "middle school accent", which is also a kind of "show".
Third, blindly imitate the Declaration of Entry.
There is also a common phenomenon, that is, blindly imitating the "declaration of participation." In recent years, many places are engaged in activities such as "beauty pageant", "draft" and "challenging the host". When the contestants take the stage, there is a "declaration of participation" link. So everyone is scrambling to imitate, and the interview of art enrollment is inevitably influenced by it. In fact, the two are very different, with different majors, different purposes, different occasions, different time limits and different selection methods, so we can't blindly copy them. However, many people think that the "election manifesto" is very fashionable, and it is inevitable to perform a "show". Always heroic, looks arrogant, in fact, the same. Common cliches are:
△ I am smart, I am lively, I am generous, I am confident!
△ I am me! A little me, a unique me!
△ I am not necessarily the best, but I must be the hardest!
△ Give me a fulcrum, and I will lift the earth!
△ Go your own way and let others say it!
△ My future is not a dream!
It's hard to say it's personal, but it's fashionable and ambiguous. For example:
△ I am a person with multiple personalities, both extroverted and introverted.
△ I love to talk, laugh, cry and make trouble; I dare to love, hate, grieve and anger!
△ I am as quiet as a virgin and as moving as a rabbit.
Others openly canvass votes, which is very vulgar. For example:
△ Judges, please vote for me!
△ Please support me!
△ Judge, please give me a chance!
△ I am a swift horse, but whether the horse can take off depends on whether you are Bole!
Of course, it is not impossible to say these words, but if they are used too much, they will appear verbose and tacky. The "draft" competition on TV is more of an entertainment, which needs hype and "show" for the audience, while the professional joint entrance examination is a kind of talent selection and a real competition, which needs seriousness and scientificity and cannot be confused and blindly transplanted.
Fourth, talk too much about your own ideals.
There is also a common bias, that is, to pour out one's own ideals, which is too long and accounts for a large proportion. After telling their names, ages and schools, many people can't wait to say how much they love TV, how much they want to be TV people, and especially how much they want to be an announcer ... It's understandable to reveal their feelings, but the proportion is too large, which is not suitable from the perspective of planning. Because time doesn't allow, everyone only has more than one minute to "introduce themselves". If you don't promote yourself quickly, but talk about the urgency of taking this major, it is definitely a presumptuous guest usurps the host's role. In fact, you come to apply for this major, and the behavior itself has said everything. Do you still need to confess again and again? What's more, what the judges are most interested in is not how urgent your mood is, not how urgent you are, but what conditions you have to apply for. Therefore, it is not appropriate to say more about the urgency of applying for this major. One word is enough. Let's take time to state the facts!
In a word, the most important thing of "self-introduction" is accurate positioning, not blindly "idolizing", not putting on a show, not publishing a "declaration of participation", and it is best to seek truth from facts.
This is a turning point. Let's see if I can help you.
