Even the Japanese defeated China in the Sino-Japanese War, forcing the Qing government to cede territory and pay reparations.

Later, War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression was also opened by ambitious Japanese, but this time, the people of China struggled to resist 14, and finally turned the tide and won. Nevertheless, people at home are full of disgust at the Japanese, especially the Japanese soldiers. As a result, there was a farmer in Henan who treated the injured Japanese soldiers and took care of them for 47 years. After the Japanese soldiers returned home, they did their best to repay the farmers.

The hero of this incident is a kind-hearted Henan farmer. His name is Sun Bangjun. At that time, during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period, Sun Bangjun accidentally discovered a wounded Japanese soldier who was seriously injured and dying on the battlefield. It's Shiro Ishida. Sun Bangjun couldn't bear to watch a life dissipate in front of him. After a struggle, he finally saved Dong Tian. But Sun Bangjun knew that the villagers in the village hated Japanese soldiers very much, and they could never tolerate him, so they had to quietly hide Ishida in a cave. In this way, under the care of Sun Bangjun, Ishida finally got out of danger and got better day by day. After Japan's defeat, all Japanese had to follow the ship back to China, but Dong Tian failed to board the ship due to mistakes.

After that, Sun Bangjun had to take Ishida back to the village. Although almost all the villagers were extremely opposed to Ishida's arrival, under Sun Bangjun's pleading, the villagers reluctantly agreed to his stay, but no one wanted to communicate with Ishida and was extremely indifferent to him. As a farmer who depends on the weather, Sun Bangjun doesn't have much savings at home. He said to Ishida, I will always take care of you. As long as I have a mouth to eat, I won't be without you. Since then, Ishida has lived in the village as a member of his grandson's family.

He is also extremely grateful to Sun Bangjun and loves country life more and more. Unfortunately, in 1964, Sun Bangjun was seriously ill and failed to return to heaven after being rescued, and finally died. Before his death, Sun Bangjun told his son Sun Jie Bao that he hoped he would take good care of Ishida and send him back to Japan when he had a chance. He must miss his country too. Although Ishida lived in China for a long time at this time, he actually missed his motherland and wanted to see his relatives in his hometown again. Regrettably, Sino-Japanese relations were relatively cold during this period, and Sun's letter of help to the relevant departments did not respond.

Finally, 47 years later, after Ishida had given up hope of returning to China, things finally turned around. He is used to life in China, and everything is fine except occasionally missing his relatives in his hometown. Then 1972, China and Japan established diplomatic relations, and Ishida, who learned about this, rekindled hope and hoped to return to the motherland.

Sun Jiebao is also trying his best to help Ishida find out the news. Later, after learning that the Japanese delegation was coming to Henan for inspection, Sun took Ishida to visit the delegation, hoping to get help. God seems to care for these two people. There is a member of the delegation named Tsuda, who is actually a former comrade-in-arms of Ishida. They stayed in an army for a long time and had a close relationship. After more than forty years, the two finally met again. The former teenager has become a white-haired old man, but they still know each other day and night in the army. Tsuda was so excited that he told Ishida that everyone thought he had died on the battlefield, even his family thought so. Ishida then told Tsuda about his decades of experience and the help Sun Bangjun gave him.

Sun Bangjun's kindness touched the whole delegation. They decided to help Ishida return to his hometown, and they also planned to spread Sun Bangjun's kindness throughout Japan. After that, the delegation returned to Japan and reported Ishida's experience with a lot of pen and ink in Asahi Shimbun, the most famous newspaper in Japan. The whole of Japan was shocked and moved by the kindness of the elderly. Since then, Ishida has found his relatives with the help of society. His family was shocked, but I didn't expect Ishida to be alive. When relatives met, they suddenly burst into tears.

Accompanied by Sun and his younger brother Ishida, Ishida finally returned to Japan. After 60 years, Ishida once again set foot on the land of the motherland.
