China Disabled Persons' Federation, referred to as China Disabled Persons' Federation, is a representative organization of disabled persons approved by the State Council and confirmed by national laws. It is a national enterprise group for the disabled, which is composed of various disabled representatives and disabled workers in China.
The China Disabled Persons' Federation was established on the basis of the China Association for the Blind and Deaf (established at 1953) and the China Welfare Foundation for the Disabled (established at 1984), and was formally established in Beijing on March 1988. The main responsibilities of the Federation of Disabled Persons:
1. Publicize and implement the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Disabled Persons, guarantee equal civil rights of disabled persons in politics, economy, culture and society, keep close contact with disabled persons, listen to their opinions, reflect their needs and serve them wholeheartedly.
2、? Unite and encourage disabled people to be self-respecting, self-confident, self-reliant and self-reliant, fulfill their legal obligations and contribute to building a harmonious society.
3. Communicate with the government, society and the disabled, publicize the cause of the disabled, mobilize the society to understand, respect, care for and help the disabled, and eliminate discrimination, prejudice and obstacles.
4. Assist the government to formulate and implement the development plan for the disabled, promote rehabilitation, education, employment, poverty alleviation, rights protection, culture and sports, social security, information technology application and disability prevention for the disabled, and improve the environment and conditions for the disabled to participate in social life.
5, to participate in the research, formulation and implementation of laws, regulations and policy planning for the cause of the disabled, to play the role of comprehensive coordination and consulting services, to manage and guide the work in related fields.

7. Manage and issue People's Republic of China (PRC) Disabled Persons' Cards.
8. Manage and guide various social organizations for the disabled. Training disabled workers. Make disabled people and disabled people's organizations more active.
9. Carry out international exchanges and cooperation, give full play to the special consultative status of the United Nations Economic and Social Council, and participate in the implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
