What do people live for? What is life? How can we understand life?
The five most important questions in life. What is the center of my life? Everything begins with God, and your existence is no accident. Your birth is not a mistake or misfortune, let alone a patchwork of nature. Your parents may not have planned to have you, but God did. In fact, your birth is what he expected and expected. The focus of life is not on you. The purpose of life is not only to pursue personal satisfaction and happiness, it is far more profound than your family, career and even your wildest dreams and ambitions. If you want to know why you live in this world, you must start with God, because you live for his purpose and live for his purpose. For thousands of years, finding the purpose of life has been a puzzling problem. Because we often start from ourselves by mistake. We ask some self-centered questions, such as: What kind of person do I want to be? How should I use my life? My life goal, my ambition, my dream, what is my future? Self-centered thoughts can never show our goals in life. The Bible says, "God commands the life of everything he creates, and every life is under his authority." This is a question of worship. Who are you going to live for? What is the center of your life? You can build your life with occupation, family, hobbies, money, enjoyment or other activities. These are all good, but they are not the center of your life. When life changes dramatically, these things are not strong enough to support you. You need an unshakable central pillar. King Asa told the Jews that ... life is centered on God. In fact, everything at the center of your life is your' God'. When you entrust your life to Christ, he enters the center of your life, but only through worship can Christ keep his position in your heart. Paul said, "I pray that Christ ... will take root and set up a base to live in your hearts." How do you know that God is the center of your life? When God is in the center, you will worship; You will miss him when he is not in the center. Missing is a warning sign that God has been pushed aside. When you put God back in the center, you will immediately feel calm. The Bible says, "You will feel the whole God arrival on you. When the Lord Christ replaces care and becomes the center of your life, unexpected and wonderful things will happen. " What are the characteristics of my life? This is a question of disciple training. What kind of person will you be? God cares more about who you are than what you do. Remember, you can't go to heaven with your career, you should go to eternity with your character. Write down the qualities you want to cultivate. You can consider starting with the "fruit of the Holy Spirit" or the "eight blessings" of the Sermon on Mountaineering. Peter said, "You should be extra diligent. In addition to your gifts, you should also establish faith, virtue, spiritual knowledge, self-control, patience, piety, love and fraternity. " Don't give up when you fall. Shaping a figure like Christ is a lifelong lesson. Paul said to Timothy, "Keep your character and pay attention to your own teaching. Don't deviate from these things, just stick to it. " What is my contribution in this life? This is a matter of service. What is your Ministry in the body of Christ? Know your own combination of spiritual talent, mind, talent, personality and experience (that is, your characteristic shape). What is your most suitable role in the protoss? How do you make influential changes? Is there any special group in this organization that I can serve with my characteristics? Paul pointed out that when you finish your work, there will be two benefits: "What you do not only meets the needs of believers, but also makes many people thank God more." Although you were shaped to serve, even when Jesus was in the world, he didn't meet everyone's needs. You must choose who you can best serve according to your characteristics. You have to ask, "Who do I want to help most? Jesus said, "... I sent you to bear eternal fruit. "Each of us bears different fruits. What is my life information? This is your mission to unbelievers. Your mission statement is a part of your life goal statement, which should include your commitment to share witness and God's good news with others. You should also list the lessons of life and the sacred passion that God has given you to share with the world. When you grow up in Christ, God may give you a special target group to preach the gospel. Remember to write this in your manifesto. If you are a parent, one of your missions is to educate your children about Christ, let them understand God's purpose in their lives, and send them to do missionary work in the world. Your declaration can include Joshua's words: "As for me and my family, we must serve the Lord. "Of course, our life should be able to support and confirm the life information we want to spread. Unbelievers must think that we are credible before they can accept the credibility of the Bible. Therefore, the Bible says, "Your behavior should bring glory to the gospel of Christ. "What groups are there in my life? This is the problem of intersection. How do you show your connection with other believers and God's family? Where do you want to carry out the' mutual' order with other believers? Which church family do you want to join and become a useful member? The more mature you are, the more you love the body of Christ and are willing to sacrifice for it. The Bible says, "... Christ loved the church and gave himself up for it. "You should write your love for the church of God into your manifesto. When you want to answer these five questions, write down any scripture that talks about these five purposes. There are many scriptures in this book. It may take you weeks or even months to conceive your goals in life. Pray, plus think, consult with close friends and meditate on the word of God. You may need to constantly revise and rewrite to produce the final statement. Even the final version, you may still change it because of the insight God gave you or your understanding of your own characteristics. If you want to use other people's statements as a model, please write to me (see Appendix 2). In addition to writing down a detailed statement of life goals, you can also write a shorter version or slogan, summarizing your five life goals, facilitating memory and motivating yourself, which can be a daily reminder. Solomon suggested, "It would be great if you could keep it in mind and quote it at any time. "The following are some examples: My purpose in life is to worship Christ with my heart, serve him with my gifts and qualities, have communication with people in the family of God, grow into a character like Christ, complete his missionary mission in the world, and make him glorious. My goal in life is to be a member of the Christian family, an example of Christ's character, a giver of the Lord's grace, a messenger of God's word, and a manifestation of God's glory. My goal in life is to love Christ, grow up in Christ, share Christ with others, serve Christ through the church, and lead my family and others to this path. My goal in life is to devote myself to "the great commandment" and "the great mission". My goal is to be like Christ, my home is the church, my Ministry is-,my mission is-,and my motivation is to glorify God. You may wonder,' What is God's will in my work and marriage? "Where should I live or go to school?" To be honest, this is a secondary issue in life. There may be many possibilities, but it's all out of God's will for you. No matter where you live, where you work and who you marry, the most important thing is to fulfill God's eternal plan in your life. These quick decisions will support your life goals. The bible says: "the human heart has many plans;" But only the purpose of the Lord can be achieved. "Pay attention to God's purpose in your life, not your plan, because only his purpose will last forever. I once heard a suggestion that you should establish your life goal statement according to what you want people to say at your funeral. Imagine your perfect eulogy and write your manifesto accordingly. Frankly speaking, this is really a bad idea. At the end of your life, it doesn't matter what others say to you. The only thing that matters is what God said to you. The Bible says, "Our purpose is to please God, not people. "One day, God will review your answers to these life questions. Do you regard Christ as the center of your life? Did you mold his character? Have you been serving others all your life? Did you tell his news and fulfill his mission? Do you love the church and participate in his home? These are the only things that matter. As Paul said, "Our aim is to satisfy God's plan for us. "
