TWI(Training Within Industry) is Japan Industrial Training Association (Nissan Training for short), funded by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry, the Ministry of Labor and the Japan Federation of Economic Organizations, which was established on July 1955. Twi is a subsidiary of Japan Federation of Economic Organizations, which is mainly engaged in training lecturers and researching and developing methods for training managers in enterprises. After its establishment, MTP, TWI, CCS and other courses were introduced from the United States.

Nissan Training is the only institution entrusted by the Japanese Ministry of Labor to do TWI TTT(Train The Trainer Training), that is, the only institution in Japan with TWI training instructor training qualification and certification. Since its establishment more than 50 years ago, Nissan Training has held TWI courses for major Japanese companies and top Korean companies every month, and trained 8,000 managers as lecturers. TWI has become a standardized and stereotyped course, which is spread all over the world.

In China, more and more consulting institutions have introduced TWI, but many institutions flaunt themselves as "the only" or "designated" institutions. The institution itself is not important, what matters is whether the consultant itself has been certified by Japan Industrial Training Association.
