The people's procuratorate is the state legal supervision organ, which exercises procuratorial power on behalf of the state according to law. Its main duty is to investigate criminal cases directly accepted by the procuratorate; Examining cases investigated by investigation organs and deciding whether to arrest, prosecute or not to prosecute; Prosecute criminal cases and support public prosecution, etc. However, the duties of the procuratorate are not limited to this. Generally speaking, the duties of people's procuratorates can be divided into "four major procuratorates" and "ten major businesses", among which the four major procuratorates refer to criminal procuratorates: civil procuratorates, administrative procuratorates and public interest litigation procuratorates.

3. The investigation organ shall file a case instead of filing it, and shall not file a case for supervision, supervision of the legality of investigation activities, etc.

Three. Responsibilities of the procuratorial technical department

1, responsible for the inspection, appraisal and document review of cases submitted by relevant business departments of the People's Procuratorate;

2. Investigate the scene of relevant cases, collect, fix and extract trace material evidence related to the case, and conduct scientific appraisal;

3. To undertake the synchronous audio and video recording of interrogation of duty criminal suspects by people's procuratorates;

4, responsible for the registration management of the people's Procuratorate appraisal institutions and appraisers;

5, responsible for the planning, guidance and management of information work of procuratorial organs.
