Xiuwu No.2 Experimental Middle School was established in July, 2008. There are currently 107 teaching staff, more than 800 students/kloc-0, and 30 classes. Located in Jiaozuo, a city in northern Henan Province, Xiuwu County at the foot of Yuntai Mountain.
At the beginning of the school, President Xue Zhifang established the management concept of "teachers' development comes first", clearly put forward that "schools develop people and schools make progress", and developed and promoted teachers with all their spirit. By means of "reading and training", "Siliu reading salon", "project experiment" and "school-based training", teachers' professional progress was greatly promoted, and a road in line with the reality of teachers and students was set out.
I. Begonia Poetry Society
Begonia Poetry Society: Every April, when the begonia flowers quietly bloom, the "Begonia Poetry Society" will arrive as scheduled. Famous artists have an appointment-tasting begonia poems, enjoying the beauty of begonia in the garden, and an essay contest to express begonia feelings. Begonia gradually precipitated into a culture in the minds of teachers and students in Xiuwu Second Experimental Middle School, and lived poetically in a simple campus.
Second, the daily growth class
At 7: 45 every morning, students will start a day's growth class, reflect on themselves and encourage each other in the "Daily Growth Class"! Specific process: show the growth theme-students' self-reflection (the manuscript must be published)-teachers and students grow together-moderator's comments are summarized-shout the growth slogan-The monitor on duty takes notes.
Third, different parent-teacher conferences.
Before the parent-teacher conference, the head teacher planned the parent-teacher conference theme of his class in advance and made a beautiful ppt. At the parent-teacher conference, parents of students get together and students organize their own parent-teacher conferences. The content of the parent-teacher conference reports the growth of parents by comparing the growth of each child.
