Prepare tools

Connecting step

Connect the cable of CATV broadband broadband cat to the WAN port of the router, and connect the LAN port of the router with the computer with another cable. Note that you need to unplug the network cable from the broadband cat to the router, otherwise you may not be able to log in to the router settings page.

Set up the router

Open a browser and enter the setting URL of the router, usually192.168.1.1,which can be found in the router manual. After logging into the router setting interface, change the IP of the LAN port to 172. 10. 1 to avoid conflict with wired broadband routing. Save your changes and exit.

Complete the setup
