The Pearl River Delta mainly includes Guangdong and Hongkong, which is the south of China and belongs to South China.

Wuhu is in the south of Anhui, just on the south bank of the Yangtze River. Anhui belongs to East China, not Central China as mentioned above.

If the Yangtze River Delta expands in the future, southern Anhui cities such as Wuhu, Hefei and Maanshan will all be within the Yangtze River Delta.
