Humanism in a narrow sense refers to a secular trend of thought and a cultural and educational movement related to the study of ancient documents such as philosophy, ethics, art and Chinese during the Renaissance around15th century. Philosophers in the Soviet Union and Eastern European countries generally divide the history of humanitarian development into three stages, namely ancient humanitarianism, bourgeois humanitarianism and socialist humanitarianism.
