6S management originated in Japan. As early as 1955, Japan put forward the propaganda slogan that "safety begins with sorting and ends with sorting". First of all, it refers to a management activity that effectively manages production factors such as personnel, machines, materials and methods at the production site. Its goal is simple, clear, practical and effective, which is to create a clean, tidy, comfortable and effective environment for employees.
After World War II, many Japanese enterprises introduced 6S management activities, which improved the product quality rapidly. It is the effective implementation of 6S management that lays the foundation for the lean production mode of Toyota Motor Corporation.
Second, the basic meaning of 6S management
The so-called "6S" management is mainly the activity of constantly sorting out, rectifying, cleaning, safety, cleaning and improving people's quality. Because the initials of these six words are "S" in Romanization of Japanese or English, they are called 6S for short. Carrying out management activities with sorting, rectification, cleanliness, safety, neatness and quality as the content is called 6S management. Its basic meaning is:
Finishing: divide the personal responsibility area of the office, distinguish what is useful and what is not, and then remove the useless things from the scene, leaving only useful things.
Rectification: fix the position of tools, equipment, equipment and documents. , well marked, fixed management, so that you can find it immediately when you need it.
Cleaning: clean to a clean state without dirt, and pay attention to nuances.
Safety: eliminate hidden dangers of accidents and dangers, and strengthen employees' safety concept.
Cleanliness: after sorting, rectification, cleaning and safety, keep it clean and tidy without dirt, and standardize it.
Literacy: cultivate positive work habits of observing rules and regulations, and develop good civilized habits and team spirit; Cultivate employees' love for people around them, the workplace and commodities.
Third, the role of 6S management
Advocates of 6S management believe that people can change the environment and the environment can also cultivate a person. This is the so-called "man-made environment, education-oriented". The relationship between man and environment is an interactive process. Without a good working environment, it is impossible to train talents. Through the implementation of "6S", not only the working environment can be improved, but also the mental outlook of employees can be improved, and finally the quality of people can be improved. People's quality is a very broad concept, including people's words and deeds, morality, self-cultivation and social responsibility to cope with various environments. Of course, "6S" management can't improve everyone's quality, but through the implementation of "6S" management, great achievements can be made in three aspects: First, get rid of sloppy work, develop the habit of being serious about everything, and take everything seriously; Second, abide by the regulations and form the habit of doing things according to regulations; Third, the habit of being polite.
At present, "6S" management is widely used in the office and its surroundings, warehouses and storerooms, teaching buildings, laboratories and other places in our hospital. Mainly in view of the state of the office site, put forward requirements for the daily behavior of each employee, advocate starting from small things and develop the good habit of "paying attention to everything". This kind of management can not only create a clean and tidy working environment, improve work efficiency and enhance the image of the college, but also cultivate people's scientific and rigorous way of thinking.
Four, the office 6S management measures
Introducing 6S management into office management can effectively accelerate the adjustment and improvement of office working environment and working conditions, and the final result is: improving work efficiency; At the same time, being in a beautiful office environment also has a good feeling. It can be implemented in six aspects:
(A) the management of public * * * areas
1, the office floor should be smooth, clean and unobstructed; Each suite must have a fixed management plan, and the figures are consistent with the reality; Only clocks, fixed drawings and propaganda slogans (paintings) are allowed to be hung on the wall, and other redundant items should be removed;
2. The placement of indoor items must be scientifically designed and carefully cleaned, and the desks should be placed in the same direction to avoid the user's back facing the door;
3. Office equipment: such as printers, photocopiers, fax machines and other facilities or electrical appliances such as lamps, air conditioners and electric fans are checked once a week to see if they are complete, and the wires and cables are bundled neatly and beautifully, which meets the safety requirements;
4. Don't post the telephone number list anywhere, you can make a phone book and put it next to the telephone; The files stored in the computer are classified scientifically and easy to find;
5. Garbage bins (wastebaskets) should be cleaned in time, at least once a day;
6. Turn off the power supply and doors and windows of all electrical equipment after work.
(2) Cabinet and shelf management
1. Nothing is allowed to be put on the cabinet, and nothing is allowed to be left under the cabinet. Keep the surface clean and dust-free, and put all items in a fixed place;
2. The fixed picture is attached to the left inner side of the cabinet door. All cabinets, shelves and boxes are required to be marked, and the information such as the responsible department, the responsible person, the type of materials on the shelf and so on is clear. The font of the logo is No.3. If there are more than two types in the file box, there should be a list of file types in the box. The filing cabinet should have one cabinet and one map, and each floor and pile of items in the cabinet should have fixed signs, and the contents of the signs should be consistent with the physical objects;
3. Filing cabinets shall be arranged once every half month, and classified by size, category and frequency of use. , mark; If there is any change, the label should be updated in time.
(3) Data homing management
1, the workbench and office desktop are arranged once a day. During office hours, only items and documents to be used on the desktop can be placed on the same day;
2. Only documents that have been used within three days can be stored on the document shelf on the desk. Each folder should be clearly classified and labeled. If there are more than three documents in each folder, there must be a content list.
(4) Desktop status
1. Every day before leaving the office after work, the staff must tidy up their personal desktops. Items allowed to be placed on the desktop include computer monitors, telephones, file racks and water cups, which are placed in a fixed position. Other items that are not allowed to be kept;
2. The office chair should be placed in a fixed position, with the corresponding desk as the relative position benchmark. After going out for a long time or after work, the office chair without armrest is in a completely advanced state, and the office chair with armrest should be placed in front of the desk.
(5) The status of the drawer
1, personal drawers are sorted once a week, and things that are not used within three months are cleared out of the drawers;
The top drawer is used to store stationery and work notebooks, and the bottom drawer is used to store personal belongings. Personal belongings should be as few as possible, 1 towel, 1 soap, no more than 2 packs of toilet paper, 1 umbrella, and a small amount of medicines. Other drawers are only allowed to store work supplies, which are fixed by scientific methods to ensure convenient and efficient fetching.
(6) post management
1, be sure to specify the area where posting is allowed, and you can buy a whiteboard to post various documents;
2. General posters shall be kept for 3-5 days, and important posters shall be kept for 7- 10 days; In the lower left corner of each poster, the date of posting and the start and end time should be indicated, and expired posters should be taken back.
There are many scientific consciousness and methods in "6S" management, such as fixed-point photography, red card combat and visual management.
Fifth, Logistics Group took the lead in implementing 6S management and achieved initial results.

Since the opening of the model room, the Equipment Department has welcomed the staff from the hospital office, continuing education department, student affairs department, finance department, security department, general affairs department, infrastructure department and education technology center to visit and study, especially the logistics department and education technology center to actively organize and participate in 6S management activities. At present, hospital offices and continuing education departments have also begun to enter the restructuring stage.
"6S" management is relatively easy to carry out, can be vigorous, and can achieve obvious results in a short time, but it is not easy to persist and constantly optimize. General Manager Yang said: "We must resolutely throw away those things that have been sorted out and make up our minds to abandon those inappropriate practices. In fact, this is the concept ordering. The logistics group will take this management activity as part of its daily work and carry it out for a long time. "
