Guangxi University Young Volunteers Association (hereinafter referred to as YMCA) was established in March 2003. Based on the spirit of "basing on campus, serving students, contributing to society and improving ourselves", with the aim of "making every effort to build a warm world" and the slogan of "volunteering in the heart and serving the front line", the association actively carried out various public welfare activities, which was widely praised by the school and society. In the past five years, the service objects of the association have gradually covered schools, streets, communities and rural areas. The service covers compulsory education, health promotion, scientific and technological services, poverty alleviation, legal consultation and other fields, and the service scope has also expanded from Nanning city to counties and towns around Nanning and Beihai.

(A) our community activities

Since its establishment, the Youth Federation has taken "inheriting Chinese virtues and promoting moral fashion" as its development direction, and its activities are rich in content and distinctive in characteristics, with time and geographical leap as its main characteristics. At the same time, we have been committed to digging, cultivating and developing brand activities with association characteristics. Until 2007, eight outstanding activities of the Association, represented by the Red Love Volunteer Service Team for Blood Donation, were established. "Caring for the Flowing Flowers" is the original intention of volunteers to teach in Xieyuanpo Primary School. Here, we are touched by the small hand and the big hand, so that the society can give more care to the children. Mentors for the disabled adopt "many-to-one" or "one-to-one" education methods to help children of disabled families study, pay attention to their mental health education and give them more sincere care; The sign language training class aims at "bringing us closer to the hearts of people deprived of language ability and creating a world of laughing hearts", so that more deaf people can enjoy care; Sign Language Corner provides a platform for more sign language lovers to learn from each other. The Red Love Volunteer Service Team advocates the volunteer spirit of "dedication, friendship, mutual assistance and progress", actively participates in the publicity of unpaid blood donation, and provides good services for blood donors; Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation donation publicity service team promotes the donation of hematopoietic stem cells and blood components, so that more people can join the ranks of hematopoietic stem cell donors and enrich the hematopoietic stem cell database; Directional walking for the blind aims to let volunteers guide the blind scientifically and make them walk safely; Teaching blind people to learn computers makes it possible for them to know the outside world through the Internet, and provides them with a brand-new way of life and job opportunities. In addition, in February 2008, we cooperated with Macau University of Science and Technology to help the poor in Du 'an, Guangxi, which helped us deepen our enthusiasm for volunteer service. Now we are collecting clothes for the seriously affected villagers in Linluetun Village, Dudong Town, Sanjiang Dong Autonomous County, which is far away from Liuzhou. I hope that through our efforts, they will not be cold this winter.

(2) Our honor

Excellent players make excellent teams. With the joint efforts of members, we have achieved fruitful results. In 2005-2009, we won the title of "Star Society of Guangxi University", which is enough to witness our strength. In 2007, we won the "excellent student association" in the selection of excellent colleges and universities in the whole region, which also proved our contribution. In the past 2008, the Youth Federation's "Fund-raising for Leukemia Patients" was awarded as "Excellent Activities of Student Associations of Guangxi University" in the 12th Student Tour Exhibition of Guangxi University, which is the result of our efforts. At the same time, the Youth Federation also won the title of "Nanning Excellent Youth Volunteer Service Collective" and the first prize of "Excellent Achievements in Campus Culture Construction of Guangxi University". In the end, the Youth Federation won the "Moral Fashion Award" in the weighty selection of outstanding college students in the third Guangxi University, which reflected the overall cohesion and service enthusiasm of the Youth Federation. This excellent team set a good example for the players. Our members are not only based on the development of this association, but also give full play to their talents in different fields. Among them, Mars won the "Excellent Athlete" in the 38th Sports Meeting of Guangxi University, the Excellence Award in the 6th Girls' Day Clothing Competition of Guangxi University in 2009, the outstanding student in the training class for activists joining the Party in 2009, and the outstanding debater in the 2009 College Debate Competition. Liao Yanqiong won the Guangzhou Scholarship in 2008, the title of "Outstanding Cadre of Pioneer Company of Power Engineering College" in the spring semester of 2009, the title of "Advanced Model Company of Pioneer Company of Power Engineering College" in the autumn semester of 2009, and the third prize of "Flash Competition" in the HP -PHE Flash Training Course of Guangxi University.
