How to do a good job of pre-examination and triage
Doctors in various departments of medical institutions should pay attention to asking about the epidemiological history and occupational history of patients in the process of receiving diagnosis and treatment, and carry out pre-inspection of infectious diseases in combination with their chief complaints, medical history, symptoms and signs. If the patient is diagnosed as an infectious disease patient or suspected infectious disease patient through pre-inspection, the patient shall be diverted to the infectious disease department or triage point for treatment, and necessary disinfection measures shall be taken in the reception room. At the same time, general hospitals above the second level should set up infectious diseases departments, which are specifically responsible for the triage of infectious diseases within their medical institutions; Medical institutions without infectious diseases departments should set up triage points for infectious diseases. The Measures emphasize that medical institutions should strengthen the pre-inspection and triage of specific infectious diseases after receiving the early warning information of specific infectious diseases issued by the Ministry of Health and the people's governments of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government, or according to the requirements of local health administrative departments. When necessary, set up a relatively independent pre-examination room for specific infectious diseases, guide patients to go to the pre-examination room first, and then go to the corresponding general department after preliminarily eliminating specific infectious diseases. For patients or suspected patients suffering from special infectious diseases such as respiratory tract, medical institutions shall take measures to isolate or control transmission according to law, and take medical observation and other necessary preventive measures for patients' companions and other close contacts in accordance with regulations.
