In the ceramic ink-jet machine, the function of the nozzle is simple: as long as the ink drops of the appropriate size are ejected at the appropriate time and landed at the appropriate position. At present, the mainstream nozzles are all gray-scale nozzles. In the case of using the same ink, the volume of ink droplets that can be ejected at the highest gray level is an important parameter to evaluate the color performance of the nozzle. The greater the amount of ink, the thicker the hair color. In order to meet the needs of different applications, the same series of nozzles also have different maximum ink drops to choose from.
In addition to the maximum amount of ink drops, pattern fineness is equally important in ceramic inkjet printing applications. Therefore, the larger the size range of ink droplets that can be ejected from the same nozzle, the wider the application range, so that ceramic manufacturers can manufacture different types of tiles with the same printer, making the production line more flexible and the product variety more abundant.
