The most beautiful is the rose! Chinese rose flowers are beautiful in appearance, full of gestures, fragrant and sour, and bloom forever. It is worthy of the reputation of "the queen of flowers" and is deeply loved by people. It is rated as one of the top ten flowers in China, and also selected as the national flower by some countries. Yang Chengzhai, a poet in the Song Dynasty, said in a poem: "It only takes ten days for a flower to bloom, and this flower has no spring breeze every day", which shows the characteristics of a long period of Chinese rose flowers. Shuyang has a long history of planting and cultivating rose.

According to legend, Hu Lian (1495), a scholar in Xinhe, Shuyang, brought roses from Min Guang and Annan (Vietnam) and planted them in the back garden, which is now Hu Jia Garden (also called Zhouquan Garden).

Hu Jianjing (163 1- 1695), a descendant of Hu Lian in the early years of Kangxi in Qing Dynasty, was being expanded, and the garden was full of flowers, roses of various colors and varieties. Brief Introduction to Ma Feng1September 1942, Li Yimang, the head of Huaihai District, went to Xinhe District of Toarey Yang County to guide the anti-Japanese work. He once overlooked Longyao Township in Jiangwan (now Longyao Natural Village in Zhouquan Village, xinhe town) separated by a river, admiring the flowers and trees left in Hu Jia gardens, such as the passionate and tenacious rose ravaged by the Japanese invaders, and happily left Hu Jia Garden Show.

1946 10 Chen Yi, the founding marshal, moved to his grandson's home in Huang Wei Village, Xiping Township, Xinhe District (now Huang Wei Group, Chunsheng Village, xinhe town) in preparation for staying at Peking University in wartime. One day, Commander Chen Yi followed the county magistrate Wang to visit Nanmalonian Township. When he saw the Hu Jia Garden where people and plants were born all their lives, he blurted out: "Wandering around the world, I only saw Mayflower flowers in Shuyang." Mayflower refers to Chinese rose.

Today, beautiful poems are talked about by people in Hu Axiang. Xinhe town, the birthplace of flowers and trees in Shuyang, cultivated rose with strong ornamental value and tenacious vitality. In order to inherit and develop, all previous xinhe town * * * encouraged local people to plant characteristic Chinese rose on a large scale.
