After watching the rowing special of Infinite Challenge, I felt itchy and wanted to try rowing. I signed up for a local club in September this year. Registration conditions: a doctor who can row a boat can prove that there is a self-report of an emergency contact who can swim 50 meters, which is theoretically necessary. On September 8th, it was the first activity. A group of little whites visited the rowing warehouse, maintenance room, indoor mechanical training room and indoor swimming pool training room under the guidance of the coach. The coach said the water area first, where you can drive to the club, and the boat is driving on the left. Then paddle 5000 meters with concept2 rowing machine to experience body movements, breathing and frequency. The coach requires the rowing frequency 18 to 20, the average speed of 2 minutes 10 to 2 minutes and 30, the chain must go in and out horizontally (so as to ensure that the rowing will not enter too much or too little water), and then go to the indoor swimming pool to experience the rowing action. Our initial goal was "four people with two oars and one rudder". What the coach said to beginners: step on the middle with one foot (only in the safe area), then sit down, adjust the position of your feet and tie them tightly. The green sign board is the left hand, and the red one is the right hand. When rowing, the left hand is always above the right hand. Hold the pulp hand, put it aside and put your thumb where you hold the dry head. (There is a picture below) Try to keep the pulp head in the water, no more or less. When you push it, just lift it gently and the pulp will float on the water by itself. Follow the person in front of you. So the person who sits first is very important. The color of the paddle plays the role of a flag, and the color of each club is different. Maybe everyone skated for 10 minutes, and the day was over.
September 17, the second activity. The coach said that we are not novices and can go into the water. We all ordered a little. . . The boat used by novices is wider and it is not easy to capsize. The more people there are, the more difficult it is to grasp the balance. As soon as there is a disturbance, everyone will follow to find balance, and the more they find it, the more unbalanced it will be (chaotic model. . . ) Every ship has a name, and it's all cool, the one called "Dragon Ball Z". Select and register. The ship is buckled on the slide rail. A boat for four people can be taken by four boys. Take the oars and the rudder. The boat is launched and the pulp is ready. The helmsman goes first, and then everyone steps on the seat belt to get on the boat and confirm the paddle lock. When I first sat on it, it was really shaking. Everyone can put the oars flat and open to keep balance. The helmsman shouted slogans, similar to "Ready", "Start", "Push" and "Stop". After the ship speeds up, the paddles rowed back are like "throwing water into the water", and it feels so cool to wipe! The coach shuttled between kayaks to correct his posture or something. Wash it when you're done. The river is still not clean.
