I. Lv Le
Lv Le CPM (1920may16-2010may13), also known as the mayor. 1920 was born on 16 May, in Xinnan Village, Lujing Township, Fucheng Town, Haifeng County, Chaoshan Island, Guangdong Province. Later, the whole family sneaked into Hong Kong. Also known as Lu, known as Brother Le and Uncle Shu, he is known as the "500 million inspector".
The former Chief Inspector of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Hong Kong Police Force established a corruption mechanism related to the triad system during his tenure, and later became a wanted criminal in Hong Kong. In the Hong Kong films after 1990, Lv Le, Lan Gang, Han Sen and Xiong Yan were called the "Four Great Detectives". 20 10 on may 3rd, Lu Le died of illness in Canada.
Lu Le 1958 was promoted to Chief Inspector of New Territories, becoming the first of the four Chinese detectives. When Lv Le joined the Police Force on 1940, he was just an ordinary uniformed police officer. This kind of police usually go out to do some basic police work, which is a very hard role, such as patrolling, walking up and down the street every day, exposed to the sun and rain.
Because of his excellent work, he became a policeman a few years later, and then by going up one flight of stairs. As a police officer, Lv Le is both capable and excellent. Under the special circumstances at that time, he could not be greedy. If he is not greedy, he will not be promoted at all, and even if he has great ability, he will not be appreciated by his boss. In this sense, Lv Le's greed is not entirely due to himself, but also due to the system and environment.
Second, Lan Gang.
Lan Gang (1920- 1989), nicknamed Headless, formerly known as Blue, is too weak. After joining the police force, he changed his name to Lan Gang. In the1960s, Lv Le, Han Sen and Xiong Yan were called the "Four Great Detectives" together. His personality is humorous, whether in language or in action, he is very funny, especially fond of playing tricks on people for fun. So both the police force and the underworld brother like him very much. Because he is gentle but forgetful, he is nicknamed headless.
Years of service in the police force: 1944 to 1969. Before leaving office, his rank was Inspector of Hong Kong Island (stationed with Lv Le in Hong Kong Island and Kowloon Police Districts). ICAC action: the list of prohibited immigrants was issued on February 1977, that is to say, if you enter the country again, ICAO will immediately invite you to return to the department for help.
The second Chief Inspector was Lan Gang. Among the four chief inspectors, Lan Gang entered the police a little later, four years later than Lv Le. Lan Gang entered the business late, but he was promoted quickly. One of the main reasons is that he has a spirit of striving to build Saburo. When things happen, he never flinches. Among the four detectives, Lv Le is the oldest, belongs to the young old detective, and has the highest status. Lan Gang is a rising star in Ran Ran. Because they have a strong personal relationship and extensive connections in the police force,
At that time, the "four big families" in Hong Kong (Xinyi 'an, Chaozhou Gang, 14K, Heshenghe) gave them enough face. Even if they sit at home and do nothing, these four gangs send them cases to find jobs. When the new police chief takes office, he needs Corporal Li Xian to visit them. Otherwise, the law and order in Hong Kong will be very poor and the police can't stop it at all.
Third, Han Sen.
A native of Dongguan, Guangdong Province, was the chief inspector Hua, who was active in Heibai No.2 Road in the 1960' s, and was called the four major inspectors together with Lan Gang. 1940 Join the Hong Kong Police Force. Later, due to the outbreak of the Pacific War, Hong Kong was occupied and fell by the Japanese army, and he returned to Dongguan for temporary shelter. After the war, Han Sen returned to Hong Kong to continue to be a policeman, and became the main force of the Dongguan gang with the old Dongguan detective Liu Fu. 197 1 was promoted to Governor of New Territories.
Han Sen ranks third among the four chief inspectors. Like Lv Le and Lan Gang, Han Sen has been the chief inspector. However, he held this post later than Lu Le and Lan Gang. After Lu Le and Lan Gang retired, the Hong Kong Police needed personnel. In June 197 1, Han Sen was promoted to Chief Inspector of the New Territories.
During this period, the new Governor MacLehose took office. It seems that this governor has a different style from previous governors and is quite anti-corruption. Some people in the police station began to worry about being implicated and secretly prepared to get away. Han Sen applied for early retirement at this time. As a result, he retired after only two months as chief inspector. 1976, ICAC issued an arrest warrant against Han Sen. But by this time, Han Sen had settled overseas. Later, in order to ensure his own safety, he came to Taiwan Province Province, which has no extradition regulations with Hongkong. It was not until 1999 died in Taiwan Province Province that the investigation against him was withdrawn by the ICAC.
Fourth, Xiong Yan.
Xiong Yan, a former detective in the Criminal Investigation Department of the Hong Kong Police Force, was transferred to the post of Chief Police Officer on 1972. Later, he became the wanted man of 1977 and finally fled to Thailand.
The last of the four detectives is Xiong Yan. In the 1960s and 1970s, Tsim Sha Tsui and Yau Ma Tei were still on the edge of Kowloon, and many shanty towns were concentrated, which were the focus of underworld forces. From Chief Superintendent Garbo to Inspector Four Battalion Hua, there is a close relationship with this area, and it is a local strongman.
Xiong Yan's last position was inspector of Yau Ma Tei Police Station. Prior to this, Han Sen worked in Yau Ma Tei until he was promoted to inspector of Yau Ma Tei, and later transferred to Mong Kok Police Station as an inspector. For this reason, during that period, ICAC focused its work on this area, especially in Yau Ma Tei.
During the period from the arrest of senior police officers or the Garbo case to 1976, the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC), which was established only two years ago, dug up nearly 20 corruption syndicates within the Hong Kong Police Force, and many senior police officers at the superintendent level were arrested and hundreds of people were wanted. The biggest gang corruption case involved 18 policemen. After solving the case, it caused great repercussions in Hong Kong society and also caused great panic within the police force.
Those who retired and resigned escaped, seemingly lucky, but in fact they were deprived of their pensions and wanted for a long time, so they could only live in a foreign land anonymously. Some people who fled abroad can't even speak the language and can't come back, so they can only live in darkness. More importantly, although ICAC wanted them, it froze their property, although some people used some property in other places because they were not familiar with the local laws and lived in fear.
