Step 1: Check whether the user name and password are configured incorrectly.
Check whether the configuration interface for adding IPC is correct. No matter whether it is Ubisoft protocol or ONVIF protocol, the contents to be checked when adding IPC are the same, mainly including three elements: ① port number (Ubisoft IPC port number is 80), ② user name and ③ password (Ubisoft IPC user name and password are the same as the account password when IPC web logs in, and the default is user name admin password 123456. If you modify it yourself, please fill in according to the actual modification).
Tip: In addition to confirming the three elements, the third-party IPC should also confirm that the protocol is ONVIF.
Step 2: Will 2:NVR add IPC across network segments?
1. If NVR adds IPC across network segments, the two network segments will be opened by configuring routing and other network means. For security reasons, Ubisoft IPC can prohibit cross-network access using weak passwords.
If the IPC account password is the default 123456 at this time, the error "Offline: wrong username and password" will appear. Of course, this security feature is turned off by default. If it is cross-network, you need to log in to IPC web and check whether the friendly password is turned off under Configuration-Security Configuration-Network Security-Access Policy. If this security policy is not needed in the field, it is recommended to turn it on.
If the site needs security policy and needs to be added to NVR across network segments, it is recommended to change the IPC web login password to a strong password, and then add it again with a strong password.
Note: In order to ensure the security of the project, it is recommended to use strong passwords in cross-network situations.
2. Has 2.NVR added a third-party IPC?
When adding a third-party IPC to NVR, it is suggested to judge whether the third-party IPC conforms to the ONVIF protocol specification first.
You can use the ONVIF equipment test tool general test tool, and use the same onvif authentication account password to verify whether you can access the live stream normally.
If common tools can't connect to IPC, it is recommended to contact a third-party IPC vendor to help analyze the reasons.
For example, when there was a positioning problem in the client before, it was found that Hikon IPC could not be online when it was added to NVR, and it was also reported that the user name and password were wrong. At this time, it is also impossible to connect using the ONVIF device test tool. Finally, confirm with Hikon that when accessing with ONVIF protocol, IPC will be locked for half an hour, but it cannot be added online with the correct account password in the locked state. After Hikon IPC is unlocked, the correct account password is added, and it can be online normally.
Step 3: Collect online messages and diagnostic logs.
After eliminating the above two reasons, the user name and password are still wrong. It is suggested that the diagnostic information of IPC and NVR should be collected, and the message of NVR joining IPC should be captured at both IPC side and NVR side, and returned for analysis.
