1, Houjie Aotai College
Jutangfang, located in Houjie community, was founded in the spring of the 12th year of Chenghua in Ming Dynasty (1476). It is the only academy in Dongguan that won the first prize and the second prize. It was once a famous institution in Dongguan during the Ming and Qing Dynasties and one of the earliest township academies in Dongguan. It has a history of over 540 years. From 2065438 to March 2007, Aotai College was awarded as one of the "New Ten Scenery in Dongguan".
2. Haiyue Rock in Yongzhou
Haiyueyan Ancient Temple in Yonggou, houjie town covers an area of 1.30 mu, with Sanqing Hall, Haiyue Hall, Shisan Hall, Sandi Hall and Juxian Hall. In 2003, Yongquan Community handed over Haiyueyan Ancient Temple to the Religious Affairs Department of Dongguan Civil Affairs Bureau for management. Haiyue Rock has beautiful scenery, not only the beautiful legend of "Haiyue sails in the well", but also one of the most famous "Old Eight Scenes" in Dongguan.
3, Houjie Shangshu ancestral hall left octagonal pavilion
Houjie Octagonal Pavilion, also known as Xiangxian Pavilion, is located on the left side of Shangshu Ancestral Temple in houjie town, Dongguan City, Guangdong Province. It was built in the eighth year of Hongzhi in Ming Dynasty (1495) and rebuilt in 1935. This pavilion has eight rows and eight octagons, built on three steps, and is relatively spacious, surrounded by six rows of armchairs (north and south access). The roof eaves have two floors with windows in the middle, which is convenient for lighting in the pavilion. Anyway, the momentum is really extraordinary.
