How to write ancient poetry (with classical charm)
First: What I want to say is graceful words and bold words. At present, most critics regard Xin Qiji as a representative of the uninhibited school, but if we really finish reading his ci collection, it is estimated that this feeling will basically disappear, and his ci is still graceful and graceful. Graceful places are moved by emotions, making people fascinated and dancing. Beautiful places are like sitting in front of a mountain, enjoying tea and enjoying a show, leaving many eternal songs. There are few really nervous words, but once written, they are all swan songs, which is entirely the crystallization of his profound language skills. On the other hand, many of our current poetry lovers are blindly "bold" without mastering the language skills of poetry, as if they were not "bold" and would not be poetry. Most of them are crazy shouts, except for summing up some slogans, the text is weak in appeal, and what is left for readers after madness is a blank. Language that has not been tempered by manners is very easy to flow under the above circumstances. Bold words focus on the scenery, epee at the waist, and heavy spirit at the chest. Don't shout, it's also overbearing. To write bold words, it is generally more difficult to write bold poems than graceful words, because there are still some practical feelings to refer to, such as love, friendship, autumn moon and spring flowers, most of which have their own experiences. I think most of us haven't realized the real changes, vicissitudes of life, or even fighting.

Second: the most important way to write poetry is "Bi Xing"! It is certain that the most important thing for a classical poet to succeed is whether he is good at comparison. The so-called bi xing, simply put, is to use the image of one thing to express the characteristics of another. The application of this technique requires the author to have superb artistic observation and imagination. Xin Qiji is a master of Bi Xing, and I drew all the wonderful sentences in this book one by one. I can improve my writing level by learning his writing skills and my own creativity (his technique is also the Mahayana of my predecessors).

Third: the overall artistic conception of poetry, the artistic conception of poetry is actually compared with modern art, and the most vivid one is like photography. There is no need to be all-encompassing, big and vague, and nothing can be tolerated through the ages. It is to grasp a prominent feature of things and the fragment that best represents a thing. Generally speaking, words can rarely finish a thing from beginning to end. It is good to have one of the most wonderful clips. It's better not to say than to say. Leave some for the reader to imagine.

Fourth: A major feature of Xin Qiji's ci works is that there are many allusions, but I personally think it is better to use fewer allusions. Most of Xin Qiji's allusions are still very appropriate, but some are too uncommon to be used in modern classical poetry. Poetry is still a popular art in the final analysis, and anything that affects others' understanding should be avoided as much as possible. So I personally think that using allusions and other people's sentences is much more profound and wonderful than using that thing directly. When using other people's sentences, it can shine on you, just as a dwarf standing on the shoulders of a giant can see farther than a giant.

Fifth, the connotation of poetry. Poetry is an art, and there are many kinds. As an art, I personally think that the primary purpose should be to give people beautiful enjoyment. Sometimes it doesn't need to be emphasized, and it has a particularly profound connotation. Just like Xin Qiji, who is always ready to go into battle with the country's enemies, he has also written many leisurely and fresh works such as landscape paintings, which is the case with his country words (maybe I don't see any deeper connotation). Of course, if we can write rich connotations between leisure and beauty, that would be the best.

Sixth, finally, the disadvantage is that many of Xin Qiji's long words are based on words, because they are given too many ideas of their own. Personally, I think this is a failure. Such a subject may be called "writing prose" rather than "writing".
