Love your country, your school and your family.
Love your country, love your school, and start with small things.

The Code for Primary and Secondary School Students clearly requires us to love our motherland and our school. All over the world, patriotism is the spirit that people admire, whether in developed western countries or poor and backward African countries. As a middle school student, what should we do to be patriotic? "Patriotism" is by no means an empty slogan, but should be based on concrete actions around us.

I want to tell you an example first: in Singapore, a country called "Garden City", most of the slogans in public places are written in English. However, some slogans involving the minimum courtesy, such as "No spitting", "No smoking" and "No trampling on the lawn", are written in Chinese. Why? The answer makes everyone in China feel ashamed: because most people who have these uncivilized behaviors are tourists from Chinese mainland. This summer vacation, a group of primary school students from China went to Singapore to study, and they also made uncivilized behaviors such as shouting loudly in some public places, chasing and fighting in hotels, which led some local people to complain to the school leaders, which in turn had a negative impact on the motherland.

What do I want to tell you by telling this story? The reason is simple: small things are also related to dignity! So patriotism, please start with small things.

For each of our students, patriotism means starting from small things, starting from daily behavior norms, and turning patriotism into concrete actions. To love our country, we must first love our parents, families, schools, classes, teachers, people around us and the surrounding environment. Students, polish a piece of glass, pick up a piece of waste paper on the ground, finish every homework carefully, learn every lesson well, take good care of school property, and strictly abide by school rules and regulations. These are the concrete manifestations of our patriotism and love for our school.

Students, the school's achievements are your achievements, and the school's honor is your honor. Therefore, every grass, tree, brick and tile that loves school is patriotic and loves school; Listening carefully in class is patriotism and love for school; Respect for teachers is patriotism and love for schools; Uniting classmates is patriotism and love for school; It is patriotic to eat chicken legs, big rows and other foods outside the canteen at noon; Upstairs students don't throw confetti outside the north window of the classroom, which is patriotic and loves the school; It is patriotic to love school and not pursue classes; Isn't it a sign of patriotism and love for school to turn off the lights that are not used in the classroom when you see the water pipes dripping?

Students, each of us loves our mother. We will do our best to give her a satisfied smile, so let's love our motherland and our alma mater with practical actions, just as we love our mother.
