The reason is that catering enterprises have the responsibility to provide sterilized tableware to consumers. The state clearly stipulates that tableware is a supporting service item in the dining process, and disinfection fees are charged, which is suspected of compulsory consumption; The quantity of sterilized tableware is small and the cost is high, and the resulting plastic packaging affects environmental protection, which is unscientific. In order to ensure that consumers can use condiments safely during the Spring Festival, the Municipal Consumer Protection Committee conducted a comparative test on the product quality of some soy sauce, vinegar and yellow rice wine. The test samples were purchased by the staff of Consumer Protection Committee as ordinary consumers from large markets and supermarkets in our city, and the condiments such as soy sauce, vinegar, yellow wine, etc. 10 were extracted respectively, and the producing areas involved Ningbo, Hangzhou, Shanghai, Shaoxing, Guangzhou, Foshan, Shanxi, Jiangsu and other places, and then the products were entrusted to the product quality supervision and inspection institute for testing. The number of complaints and arbitration cases accepted by counties (cities) has declined. Due to the active implementation of the consumer dispute settlement system in various places, a large number of consumer disputes have been resolved at the grassroots level, and the number of consumer disputes handed in has decreased. In the first half of the year, * * * accepted 2,450 consumer complaints and handled 24 consumer dispute arbitrations. Compared with the same period in 2007, the total number of complaints decreased by 267, with a reduction rate of 10.9%, and the total number of arbitrations decreased by 37, with a reduction rate of 154.2%.

Popularize the complaint information management system. In order to strengthen the management of consumer complaint information and make full use of consumer complaint information to guide consumer protection, the Municipal Consumer Protection Committee began to develop consumer complaint information management software last year and put it into trial operation at the end of the year.
