1. What is varnish?
Varnish is a light yellow or transparent coating composed of resin and solvent. This kind of paint is widely used, mainly used in furniture, which can hide the original color of furniture and protect the texture of furniture.
Second, the paint color considerations
1. When mixing multi-color paints such as gray and green, "floating color" and "halo color" are likely to occur due to the need to add a variety of pigments with different densities. Therefore, it is suggested to add a small amount of active agent or leveling agent to solve the problem, or add a proper amount of silicone oil to prevent it. The addition amount is generally between 0. 1%- 1%.
2. The paint film of the colored paint is transparent, so it is suggested to choose a suitable background color to make the topcoat look brighter than the original paint. It is reflected and absorbed by natural light, because the color after the superposition of background color and primary color is called "transparent color" in painting engineering.
3. When mixing colors, the colors of paint and dry film are different. When the paint is completely dry, the color looks darker. If it is a dry sample, wait until the paint is dry before measuring the color. If it is a wet sample, first drop the sample into the tinting paint to see if the two colors are the same.
