Dear teachers and students:
Hello everyone! The topic of my speech today is: everyone creates a green home.
Who doesn't want the sky overhead to be as blue as a mirror,
Who doesn't want the green grass under their feet,
Who doesn't want the lake clear around him,
Who doesn't want the sun to shine like gold?
Yes, who doesn't want to have such a natural picture? But now we are getting farther and farther away from it. The increasing destruction of the ecological environment has seriously threatened our home. The sky is blue like a mirror and the earth is almost green, but we stubbornly destroy the environment. This situation is really worrying. Recently, grassland degradation in Inner Mongolia has reached an alarming level. Among the more than 63.59 million hectares of available grassland, the area of degraded grassland has reached 38.67 million hectares, accounting for 60% of the available grassland.
Hulunbeier grassland and Xilinguole grassland in China, which are famous for their rich aquatic plants, have degraded areas of 23% and 4 1% respectively, of which Ordos grassland is the most seriously degraded, with an area of over 68%. In the past, sandstorms were basically initiated from the desert areas of Alashan League and Bayannur League, but this year they moved eastward to Wulanchabu League and Xilin Gol League, which sounded the most worrying ecological alarm to the world: the beautiful Xilin Gol grassland has also been seriously desertification. In Dongwuzhumuqin Banner, the most typical meadow grassland in Inner Mongolia and even the world, the grassland degradation area has accounted for more than 66% of the available grassland in the whole banner. Alashan League and Yikezhao League, represented by desert grassland, have serious grassland degradation and desertification.
Compared with the 1950s, the grassland coverage in Alashan Zuo Qi decreased by 30% to 50%. At present, desert and semi-desert have accounted for 96.9% of the grassland in this banner.
The Loess Plateau in ancient China was once a beautiful and rich place, and the forest coverage rate of the Yellow River Basin was as high as 50% in Shang Dynasty. However, after thousands of years of predatory development, nature relentlessly retaliated. At present, the loess plateau is full of barren hills and gullies, and the Yellow River, the "mother river" of the Chinese nation, has become the river with the largest sediment concentration in the world. In recent decades, with the rapid growth of population and the rapid development of economy, the destruction of human production and life to the environment has become increasingly serious, and an unprecedented environmental crisis has emerged. Environmental crisis includes environmental pollution, the destruction of natural resources such as forests, grasslands, wild animals and plants, and the resulting deterioration of the ecological environment. Now, protecting the ecological environment and realizing sustainable development have become an urgent and arduous task all over the world.
One shocking figure after another shows that it is urgent to create a green home. Our actions should not only appeal, but also start from me to create a green home. Of course, it is difficult to create a green home, and it is not immediate, but as long as you persist, you can see the results. As long as you pay attention to every bit of life, you will find that building a green home is as simple as that. If you bend down and pick up a piece of paper on the ground every day, you will walk cleaner. In the long run, you will find that your green home has been built and our green home has been created. So, your green home is easy, why not? If everyone had such a high awareness of environmental protection, then the above things would not happen, and we would not face such an ecological environment.
In order to protect our common home-the earth.
We call for the green of life with pious voices.
In order to make the earth beautiful
In order to make the home green and blue.
Let's hold hands.
Let's have a small hand and a big hand.
Join the ranks of "calling for green"
Protect green homes
Sow a green seed today.
Harvest a blue sky and green land tomorrow!
Let's go, start with me!
Take action, from now on!
thank you
Environmental protection (speech)
In my opinion, the world can only be destroyed, not saved. Of course, now I think this view seems to be wrong. Because everything I have seen and what is happening on the earth shows that the situation is not very bad, and there are still many people who struggle for saving this planet all their lives. Unfortunately, a considerable part of these struggles are likely to be in vain. On the one hand, some struggles are superficial, ignorant, even absent-minded and empty-handed. On the other hand, it seems much easier to destroy the world than to save it.
Personally, I would rather say that I am the destroyer of the earth than boast that I have made too much contribution to environmental protection. In my opinion, the birth of anyone on this planet which has become extremely overpopulated is a potential threat to the environment. Growing up, consuming and making garbage can be said that each of us owes a debt to the world, and it is only natural to pay back the debt. Then we have no reason to be proud of environmental protection. We can only say that after suffering in a harsh environment for too long, our conscience was discovered, our brain was perfected, and we got rid of childishness, barbarism and rudeness to pay off this debt.
I am not advocating the so-called "inherent evil at the beginning of life", but that we are heavily in debt-this is a fact, and each of us must deeply realize this, so as to put down our airs and be less complacent, and truly take environmental protection as a responsibility, seriously protect the environment, seriously protect the environment, and even go to environmental protection with tears. In this way, we won't shout environmental protection while throwing plastic bags on the roadside; Or dig the sapling out of one place, then bury it in another place casually, and then watch it die slowly and painfully. Then, our struggle will not be superficial and formal, and our struggle will really be a struggle.
On the other hand, the question is how much damage can be offset by efforts to save the world. Maybe the word "offset" is not appropriate here. If the Siberian tiger is completely dead, then this destruction will be irreversible. Even with millions of lives, it is impossible to get a pair of tigers Adam and Eve from God. I said it was much easier to destroy than to save, at least in terms of numbers. After all, the struggle for salvation is only a part, and the destroyer is all. The word "destruction" may be shocking, but in fact each of us is working hard for destruction. We want to eat, so a large area of forests and grasslands are reclaimed into so-called fertile fields, which are burned and burned, and the more they burn, the more desertification begins. Each of us wants a living space, so our space becomes more and more crowded and dirty.
We should feel the crisis, and the rescue efforts are too fragile in the face of destruction. Trees that have grown for decades or even hundreds of years can be polished with only a few chainsaws. Beautiful countryside, which was finally managed, only needed a few missiles to be blown into a chaotic grave. I think many people have a potential desire for destruction. Once expanded, the consequences are unimaginable-NATO is, at least its behavior is anti-environmental!
This is more significant to punish the saboteurs than to save the world. At the very least, it can destroy unscrupulous saboteurs, make them feel fear, arouse people's awareness and inspire our fighting spirit. In this way, we can preserve more and destroy less.
We all know about environmental protection every day, but I still feel sad. Although the world can't be saved, if we can't really get serious, I'm afraid it will go downhill. However, we still have reason to be gratified. As far as today is concerned, I don't think the world will be destroyed-at least not for a hundred years.

Friends: Those who have read the novel The Last Leaf by the famous American writer O Henry must remember this sentence: "When the last leaf falls, life will be over, and I will leave this world." Johnsy, a female painter who loves life, is dying of pneumonia. "She is afraid that when her hand holding the world gently becomes weaker and weaker, she will really float away like a gentle and delicate leaf with the cold wind in late autumn." When I first read this novel, teenagers didn't know the taste of sadness, and I didn't have any opinion about the pathological idiot of the protagonist. It is at the moment when human beings advocate green, green food, green energy, green computers, green refrigerators and green buildings are widely respected. After rereading the novel "The Last Leaf", I realized that it was clearly an allegorical story, and Johnsy's words were clearly a warning. Isn't there a profound historical lesson in O 'Henry's own country, the United States of America? The famous President Roosevelt has a soft spot for sika deer. Starting from this little personal interest of the president, he ordered a large-scale sweep of a dense forest in North Carolina, and a large number of carnivores such as lions and wolves died. More than 4,000 deer exploded geometrically, and hundreds of thousands of lovely elves with long necks ate up the leaves on the trees, as if the famous big forest disappeared from the earth in the blink of an eye, leaving only a few sick deer. Mr. Lu Xun said that tragedy is to destroy beautiful things for people to see. In the south of our province, there is a beautiful place, which has always been called an emerald embedded in the crown of our plant kingdom. Her beauty, of course, is given by green. However, just above this emerald, the chimneys of eight red brick factories spewed smoke with fluoride and sulfur dioxide seriously exceeding the standard day and night, causing 1.262 mu of natural rubber forest to suffer and 30,500 rubber trees to die. Although the rubber man is angry, there is nothing he can do. Coincidentally, in a certain place in Guangxi at the same latitude, there is also a strikingly similar scene. If there is one difference in that scene, it is that the exhaust gas from the red brick factory not only caused the death of a large area of rubber forest, but also caused more than 50 acres of mango to bloom but not bear fruit, resulting in fruit shortage. We know that natural rubber is a rare natural resource on the earth at present, and it only grows near the equator. We also know that mango is recognized as the "king of fruits", so why? Because it takes only a few days for red mud to turn into bricks, which is much faster than rubber mango! Green is a symbol of peace and life. At an early age, my heart melted into a green ocean. Wearing the national defense green for more than ten years, I spent the best years in my life in the sunniest and greenest subtropical jungle in Laoshan War Zone. It is in such a natural oxygen bar with abundant air, sunshine and wind and rain that I entered my thirties. The most unforgettable thing in my life, which can support my life, is probably only that special green. In fact, my dream land is still not rich, and the productivity and social development level in some places are not high. The farming of border people is still inseparable from slash and burn. I once witnessed two border residents buying a box of matches in partnership and sharing them equally. I began to take it for granted that they were too poor to buy a box of matches. Later, I found out that in their lives, the stoves of the four seasons kept burning, and a match burned for a year, and all the big trees and small trees turned to ashes. All I can give them is a useless suggestion: don't burn all our forests. One of my colleagues has a wooden water cup on his desk. What kind of wood is this? Taxus chinensis. Experts from Kunming Institute of Botany, from the bark of the world's rare plant Taxus chinensis, put forward the purity of 99? More than 9% of paclitaxel, a new anticancer drug, did not expect that what happened later would make these experts cry. A considerable number of Taxus chinensis in northeast Yunnan have been stripped of their bark, cut off their branches and leaves, and even uprooted. Because a trade secret is disclosed, 1 g paclitaxel can be sold to 1 10,000 USD internationally. Those people also believe in a myth that water cups, containers and even root carvings made of yew can prevent cancer. It may not be appropriate to talk about such a heavy topic during the 99 Kunming World Expo. Those who know me make me worry, and those who don't know me make me want. We know that nine of the top ten environmental problems in the world today, namely, climate warming, ozone layer destruction, biodiversity reduction, acid rain spread, forest decline, land desertification and air pollution, are directly caused by the destruction of green vegetation. The higher the building is built, the better the life is, but the greenery is getting less and less and farther away. For this reason, I once wrote a poem: the chimney grows into a forest/reinforced concrete blocks the line of sight/there is no green in the pupil/what about the blue sky/blue sea/clear river/bright air? There is only one earth for human beings, and we will always depend on the ecosystem of this planet. We need the earth to provide food for plants and animals continuously, and we need an atmosphere thick enough to protect human beings from too high or too low temperature and excessive ultraviolet rays. We need the earth to provide enough water and oxygen to sustain life. Without green, all this will become a rootless source, just like hair growing on leather. How can hair take root and sprout without skin? It is mankind itself that drastically reduces and devours green, and it is the predatory and destructive exploitation of natural resources in the mode of human development. The endless demand for green is still threatening the ecological balance and destroying the ecological structure. According to statistics (conservative figures), 20 million hectares of forests are cut down blindly every year in the world, which is the area of 5,700 Kunming cities. This has caused a global "greenhouse effect" and is connected with it. Every year, nearly 50,000 species are endangered in the world, and nearly 27 million hectares of farmland suffer from desertification. Even the seabed is becoming more and more sandy, not to mention the Yangtze River and Songnen disasters in China last year, and the mudslides and landslides in our province. If this blind action is not effectively stopped and changed, a terrible ecological crisis is bound to break out. Once it breaks out beyond the limits of human control, the consequences will be unimaginable. At that time, we will all understand that the last fallen leaf will take away the fate of mankind, and it is by no means an alarmist. We are glad to see that the sustainable development strategy has been incorporated into the actions of the China government. China has promulgated more than 10 environmental protection laws and more than 200 environmental protection standards, and green finance is becoming people's conscious awareness. "Harmony between man and nature" is our millennium wish. I think we should shout such a slogan: green is productivity! In Jinsha River and other basins in our province, logging and river drying-up in Kan Kan have quietly disappeared. You may ask me, can't all this keep your last leaf? Then, what I want to say is that you'd better ask why the phrase "the Chinese nation is at its most dangerous moment" is still sung in our national anthem. Indeed, as our decisive victory in flood fighting and disaster relief shows, we firmly believe that human ability can turn the tide and help buildings collapse. However, as the saying goes, those who have no foresight will have immediate worries, and they must be prepared for danger in times of peace, so they must nip in the bud. How can we wait until we finally can't see the sun, moon and stars, and there is acid rain everywhere, when the waves under our feet are high in the sky, when Wang Yang is wanton, and when the earth is full of sand, then we will regret it? O Henry is a clever writer, and he is famous for his "O Henry ending". The last immortal leaf brought new life to the dying patient. I think we will create another O'Henry-style ending and usher in the new life of mankind. Waiting to die has never been a human choice. Now that human beings have awakened, they will take active actions in the face of crisis, seize historical opportunities, turn pressure into motivation, defend green and protect our homeland. Facing reality, meeting challenges and looking forward to the future, we are full of confidence. Thank you friends!
