"Liangyuan" refers to the famous garden built by Han Liang Wang Xiao. Liang Xiaowang Liu Wu is the grandson of Emperor Gaozu Liu Bang and the son of Emperor Wendi. Because of his kindness and filial piety, he was made king of filial piety, which was later called. Because of his outstanding contribution and Dou Taihou's favor, he received numerous rewards, and his government was sealed in the Girder (now Liangyuan) and given the flag of the emperor. When he came in and out, he followed the guards and rode more than a thousand horses. Like the emperor, he said "qi" when he went out of the temple and called "police" when he entered the palace. When I arrived in Beijing, I often sat in a chariot with the emperor and went in and out of the palace gate. At that time, Liang Fuqiang ranked first among the vassal States, and the treasury had more money, pearls, jade and jewelry than the capital.

Liangyuan is located from the northeast of Suiyang City (now the southeast of Shangqiu Ancient City) in the west to the platform set (now the platform town office) 7.5 kilometers northeast of Shangqiu Ancient City in the east. Liangyuan is a large-scale garden with detached palaces, pavilions, landscapes, exotic flowers and plants, rare birds and animals and cemeteries. It is a multifunctional garden for the emperor to hunt, go hunting and entertain, and its scale and luxury are second only to the Forbidden Garden Shanglin Garden in the Western Han Dynasty.

Sima Xiangru was the most successful poet in the mid-Western Han Dynasty. It's a pity that Emperor Jing of Han Dynasty (Liu Qi) doesn't like ci, but loves hunting. Sima Xiangru was an official who accompanied Jingdi to hunt (a martial rider often waited on him), but he was not interested. Liang Xiaowang, who loves talent and elegance, spared no expense to attract talents from all over the world, not only for those who became famous early, but also for those who were unknown. Once he hears that he is talented, he will certainly help generously. At one time, many people even resigned from the official positions of the imperial court and other vassal states and went to Liangyuan to "set out from Liang Wang". So, Sima Xiangru went to Liang Xiaowang for several years. When diners don't worry about eating and drinking, it's not so good for aspiring Sima Xiangru, and Sima Xiangru itself is not short of money, so this heartfelt "Liangyuan is good, but it's not a place of permanent residence".

"Water Margin" quoted this allusion twice in the vernacular, saying that "Liangyuan is good, but it is not the home of long-lasting love", and it has been repeatedly quoted, which has become a common idiom so far, meaning that no matter how prosperous and happy a place is, it cannot last as long as its hometown. Later, it was also used to describe that although it is satisfactory at present, it is not a long-term solution.
