China will use the new marriage registration certificate from June 5438+10/October 65438 +0, 2004.
Marriage certificate in 1960s (3 copies)
The covers of the new marriage certificate and divorce certificate are purple.
The old marriage registration certificate can be used until June 30, 2004. From July 1 2004, the old marriage registry in China will no longer use it. In the early years, the quality of wedding documents included Xuan paper, hard copy, silk surface, wool edge paper and so on. And most of them are handwritten. 19 12 are all watermarked with ink, and the words are beautiful. Before 1949, China's folk marriage customs generally followed the old system. The key to marriage is not the consent of both men and women, but the words of parents and matchmakers. Therefore, at that time, the names of the introducer, the officiant, the betrothed person, the married person, his grandparents and even his great-grandparents should be written in the marriage book, and some even had to write clearly the restaurant where they were engaged or held the wedding. All kinds of names are long. Now marriage has been decided by the parties themselves, and the marriage certificate has become a small marriage certificate.
After the founding of China, the marriage certificate became a contractual marriage certificate. 1950' s marriage certificate has only two palm-sized pieces of paper, on which there is no gorgeous pattern except name, age, place of origin, signature of the married person and signature of the witness. There is a passage on the cover: In the spirit of China People's Marriage Law, we will marry voluntarily, treat each other as equals, love each other, respect each other, help each other, support each other, unite in harmony, raise children, and work together for family happiness and new social construction.
From 1952 to the end of 1970s, marriage certificates were printed with patterns full of rich ethnic styles, while marriage certificates from 1952 to 1959 also had patterns of doves. Ears of rice and cotton were also the protagonists in the marriage certificate at that time, reflecting that agriculture at that time occupied a considerable proportion in the national economy.
A simple slogan was engraved on the marriage certificate in the 1950s and 1960s. For example, the marriage certificate of 1954 is conspicuously printed with four pink characters of "voluntary". In the early 1960s, traditional mascots, such as Yuanyang playing in water, ice love and plum blossom, appeared on marriage certificates, symbolizing people's expectation of social stability and good weather.
During the Cultural Revolution, everything was covered with absurd political color, and marriage certificate was no exception. At that time, every marriage certificate had a quotation from Chairman Mao: "We all came from all corners of the country and came together for a common revolutionary goal ... All people in the revolutionary ranks should care for each other, love each other and help each other."
After the reform and opening up, with the gradual improvement of China's legal system, the marriage certificate is no longer a wedding souvenir for both husband and wife, but a real legal document. People use marriage certificates more and more times, so marriage certificates are also "returning to the original", gradually canceling complex patterns and changing from certificate to passport to facilitate married people to carry.
In the past, there was a tendency in society that marriage was a happy event and it should be prosperous. Marriage certificate should be big red, which is not suitable for the development of modern society because of its low degree of informatization. The marriage certificate introduced in 2004 has been changed in color and specifications, which has increased the high-tech content of the certificate. The flower on the marriage certificate is peony.
2 Collection requirements editing
Marriage certificate is a legal document issued by the marriage registration authority to prove the validity of marriage relationship. The original marriage certificate is in duplicate, one for each party.
Legal conditions for obtaining a marriage certificate: both parties are voluntary, have no spouse, male is 22 years old, female is 20 years old, are not lineal relatives, have collateral blood relatives within three generations, and have no diseases that are medically considered unsuitable for marriage.
China's Marriage Law advocates freedom of marriage. It stands to reason that everyone has the right to get married. In fact, according to the laws of our country, at least the following people do not have the conditions for marriage:
(1) A person who has married a third party and this marriage relationship has not been terminated. Such people commit what is usually called bigamy when they get married.
(2) Those under the age of marriage: men are earlier than 22 years old and women are earlier than 20 years old.
(three) suffering from physical defects that should not be married. People suffering from incurable leprosy or other diseases that are medically considered unsuitable for marriage are prohibited from getting married.
(4) It is also forbidden to marry relatives who have direct blood relatives and collateral blood relatives within three generations, that is, close relatives usually get married. This violates the principle of eugenics advocated by our country.
(5) It doesn't mean that people who lose their sexual ability can't get married, but they must make it clear to each other in advance. Concealing this situation and marrying the other party, the relationship between husband and wife breaks down after marriage, and one party requests a divorce, which should be allowed.
