The national defense strategy is an important part of the national grand strategy, and it is the fundamental strategic thought guiding the construction and application of military forces. With the current new situation and future development needs, China's national defense development strategy has changed from single defense in the past to active defense and effective response to various threats and challenges.
Since the reform and opening up, in order to better develop the national economy, the slogan of "military gives way to economy" has been put forward, and the military development is lower than the economic development level in the same period. Compared with developed countries in the world today, China's military modernization level is relatively backward, and the quality of strategic talents is relatively low.
Today's world has become a world of interdependence, information sharing and gradual development. The interdependence of global economic development has gradually increased. China is a country with a large population, and its per capita resources are the lowest in the world. With the continuous development of China's economy, domestic demand and dependence on foreign resources are further deepened. In the future, in order to effectively deal with problems and challenges from all over the world, we need a strong national defense as the backing. In the past, a single territorial security defense was no longer in our interest. Similar to Somali escort, Libyan armed forces will only protect more and more overseas Chinese in the future, which requires us to have a strong soldier.
In 2007, the state clearly stated: "Accelerate the military transformation with China characteristics, make preparations for military struggle, improve the ability of the army to respond to various security threats and complete diversified military tasks, and resolutely safeguard national sovereignty, security and territorial integrity." It can be interpreted as two meanings: one is to enhance the core military ability to win local wars under the condition of informationization; The second is to improve the army's ability to carry out non-war military operations such as anti-terrorism, stability, emergency rescue and disaster relief, and international peacekeeping. It also shows that the country takes non-war military action as an important way when using military power.
The world today has been in a state of war, and the security around us is also quite provocative. China has a land border of more than 22,000 kilometers (which is still controversial at present), making it the longest country in the world. It has nearly 3 million square kilometers of sea area and 32,000 kilometers of coastline. Coastline is divided into continental coastline and island coastline, of which continental coastline 18000 km. It starts at the mouth of Yalu River in the north and ends at the mouth of Beilun River in the south. China's coastline ranks fourth in the world. There are dozens of countries bordering it, but there are also many disputed border areas. In recent years, all kinds of fishery conflicts, hostile exploration and invasion, and plundering of offshore oil and other resources have gradually increased, and the risk of land and sea military threats and local conflicts has gradually increased.
Compared with other countries in the world (the United States, Japan, India and other big countries that may have conflicts), they are actively developing advanced military and a new generation of weapons and equipment. "You will be beaten if you fall behind" is a lesson of blood. Therefore, the development of China's national defense will gradually move towards defensive operations in deep areas (far from home, including oceans and outer space), and actively eliminating foreign wars will be our ultimate goal. Comparing the development of superpowers gives us an example. We don't need to copy it completely, but we can learn from it. Take a road of elite soldiers unique to China.
My small wishes for future development are as follows:
The air force gradually extended its strategy beyond the first island chain.
Ensure absolute air and sea control over the coastline 1000 nautical mile. Effectively develop and utilize unmanned aerial vehicles and aerospace fields, and develop space detection, positioning, navigation and early warning technologies to provide real-time and accurate information for strategic decision-making.
The Second Artillery Corps changed its single long-range strike capability into attacking and counterattacking enemy firepower.
In fact, the current Second Artillery is not a strong contrast between the number of intercontinental missiles and the number of nuclear weapons in the United States and Russia. Disputes in the future world will be the interests of local areas. A few missiles can't solve the problem or help (such as Somali pirates, Libya, Syria, etc.). With the development of science and technology, third world countries have gradually developed their own ballistic missile technology (such as India, North Korea, Iran, etc.). ), and they may all have missiles or nuclear weapons that can attack China in the future. There is an urgent need to develop and equip anti-ballistic missile technology in the future.
The navy has developed and equipped aircraft carriers and amphibious battle groups that are in line with China's national conditions.
Similarly, this will effectively deal with threats and territorial disputes from the waters around China. And have the ability to defend and interfere with our resource security line and national interests in the ocean. At the same time, we will maintain and demonstrate some underwater counterattack forces, effectively deter world powers, and let them consider our nuclear secondary counterattack forces when they are rough with China.
Army, take the high efficiency, low loss special operations route.
In the future, large-scale armored warfare and large-scale legions will only decrease, personnel will be more valuable than equipment, and individual protection and combat equipment will be developed. Long-range strike, beheading and infiltration will be the main line of the future army.
The present situation of military scientific research in China;
In fact, many of us have already done it and achieved some success. For example, our own Beidou global navigation satellite is laying a net, our initial anti-ballistic missile has also been successfully tested twice, and our new naval ship and aircraft carrier battle group is being planned. The air force's new fourth-generation fighters have been tested, and the total number of third-generation fighters with J 10 and J 1 1 as the main body has reached more than 500, which can effectively defend our territory and the army's development has been progressing. etc
The development of science, technology and military is not achieved overnight, but the result of several generations' struggle. In recent years, the remarkable improvement of military strength has benefited from the development of reform and opening up and the highest decision made in the early days of our founding. The future will be an era in which information is highly enjoyed and people are highly self-controlled. The productivity level of some backward countries will advance and develop at a high speed, which requires us to keep pace with the times. If we remain at the strategic level in the 1990s, we will only be passively beaten.
The same human factor is actually the first. The Beiyang navy with advanced weapons could not defeat Japan (Sino-Japanese War), but we were poor but defeated the United Nations Army in the Korean War, all of which reflected the decision-making power of a country and so on!
Someone once said,
A nation that even street thieves dare not scold.
But have the courage to shout out the Japanese.
A people who are indifferent to life.
But let's not forget the dead.
A country that ignores the life and death of farmers.
But now it is a harmonious society.
Maybe I'm extreme. I'm sorry
