After the establishment of the Drama Association, the Short-term Action Program of the League of Left-wing Dramatists in China was adopted. In the program, it is clear that the main task of the drama association is to carry out the drama movement of workers, students and farmers in the white area, and to create the proletarian drama movement through independent performances, counseling workers, students and joint efforts. At the same time, it also takes into account China's film movement and the drama theory of building the proletariat. According to the spirit of the program, the troupe actively carried out its work. Organizationally, the system of leading the national left-wing drama movement was established. In addition to the Shanghai General League, 1938+0933 has set up sub-leagues or groups in Beiping, Hankou, Guangzhou, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Nantong, Tianjin, Taiyuan, Jinan, Qingdao, Chengdu and Guisui.
In terms of cultural performances, Shanghai Federation of Literary and Art Circles and local theatrical troupes have formed more than 50 left-wing literary and art groups with secret members as the core to unite and advance literary and art workers. These troupes went deep into workers, students and citizens, and performed a large number of plays created by progressive playwrights, which achieved strong publicity results. Matega, which was adapted by 193 1 Avenue Drama Club according to the 40th Soviet novel, used the story of the Soviet Red Army in the play to shout the slogans of "Long live the Red Army" and "Long live the Soviet Union" on the stage, expressing the aspirations of the revolutionary masses at that time and winning a warm welcome from the audience. 1933, the second anniversary of "September 18th", the Drama Association performed the famous anti-imperialist drama "Roar, China!
