Extended data:
Although this season's CBA finals have been shortened from four wins in the past seven games to two wins in three games, Guangdong men's basketball team and Liaoning men's basketball team still tried their best to play a rare suspense in recent years.
Guangdong men's basketball team won 22 points in the first game, and led Liaoning team by 22 points in the first three quarters of the second game. When most people thought that the general trend of Liaoning men's basketball team was gone, Guo, the star player, led the Liaoning team to launch a counterattack, staged a shocking reversal in the fourth quarter and dragged the game into the deciding game.
In the crucial third game, the two teams continued their good state. Yi Jianlian, 33, left in the third quarter because of achilles tendon rupture and injury. Until the last moment, the Guangdong team won the game and defended the championship by relying on Zhao Rui's key free throws.
