Brief introduction of State Grid Electric Power Research Institute
State Grid Electric Power Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as State Grid Electric Power Research Institute) is a scientific research unit directly under State Grid Corporation. State Grid Electric Power Research Institute has 17 research institutes, 8 industrial branches and 9 subsidiaries. Its headquarters is located in Nanjing, the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties, and it is known as the Dragon Pan in Zhongshan and the Tiger House in Shicheng. It has a campus in Wu Hanyou and scientific research and industrial bases in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen. State Grid Electric Power Research Institute is the supporting unit of the National Electric Power Automation Engineering Technology Research Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Engineering Research Center of Power System Automation-System Control and Economic Operation of the National Development and Reform Commission, the National High Voltage Metering Station and the UHV AC Test Base of State Grid Corporation. Mainly engaged in power system automation, AC /DC high voltage technology, water conservancy and hydropower engineering measurement and control, communication and information engineering, intelligent primary equipment, power electronics technology research and development.
