Yunnan National Defense Industry Vocational and Technical College is a full-time general public higher vocational and technical college, which was approved by the Yunnan Provincial People's Government in document No.200466 on July/Kloc-0, 2004, and was formed by the merger of Yunnan National Defense Industry School, Yunnan National Defense Technician School and Yunnan Ordnance Workers College (including Yunnan Yi Xi Co., Ltd. In July 2009, the People's Government of Yunnan Province approved the merger of Yunnan Radio and TV University to form Yunnan National Defense Industry Vocational and Technical College, and implemented the operation mechanism of two brands, one team and one legal person.
