Xiangjiang River originated in Haiyang Mountain, Lingui County, Guangxi. In order to subdue South Vietnam, Qin Shihuang "sent 550,000 troops to the south" after Chu was destroyed, and one of them "kept nine feet stuffed" ("Huainanzi Human Training"). In order to solve the difficulty of salary adjustment, he ordered the suggestion and led the troops to dig one between Xiangshui and Gigi Lai. Xiangjiang River enters Lingling area from Dongan Wharf, just like a broad green belt, winding around Akiyama and crossing Tian Dong, with a distance of 2 16km. The two sides of the strait are not only colorful and idyllic, but also the magical Carboniferous cliff stands on the shore, which is spectacular.
Xiaoxiang is not only magical and beautiful, but also has many literati, who either demoted Yongzhou, fell down in the south of the Yangtze River, served as an official Jingchu, or traveled to Xiaoxiang. They not only eulogized the beautiful scenery of Xiaoxiang, but also expressed their nostalgia for the past. Song people came to Yong in the spring of the eighth year of Yujia, and painted eight Xiaoxiang landscapes. "Meng Qian Bi Tan" contains: "The paintings that the Song Emperor's Office is proud of are the wild geese in Pingsha, the white sails in Pu Yuan, the clear blue mountain city, the snow in the river, the autumn moon in Dongting, the rainy night in Xiaoxiang, the midnight bell in the smoke temple, the sunshine in the fishing village, etc., which are called the Eight Scenes." Li Zongshu collected the scenery as the poem "Eight Scenes": "Rain enters Xiaoxiang to stop the night tour, and the moonlight recalls Dongting Autumn. The sails are far and wide, and the geese fall sharply. At night, fishermen in Guacun sing, and at night, the temple is filled with smoke. Sunny mountain city should be drunk, don't wait for the snow to be thick. " Du Mu in the Tang Dynasty, Mi Fei in the Song Dynasty, Zhang Songling in the Five Dynasties, Liu Yong in the Song Dynasty and so on. , have left many poems about xiaoxiang. Xiaoxiang has always been a poetic motherland and has become an elegant name in Hunan.
