Construction of national demonstration center for chemical engineering experiment teaching; Sichuan Key Laboratory of Applied Chemistry of Oil and Gas Fields; Oil Field Chemical Engineering Research Center of Ministry of Education; Sichuan Key Laboratory of Pollution Prevention and Environmental Safety in Environmental Protection Oil and Gas Fields; Research Department of China Petroleum HSE Key Laboratory; Oil and gas field chemical working medium, oil and gas field chemical synthesis and application development, oil and gas processing, Sichuan University key laboratory and other research bases. There are 1 undergraduate talent training bases in Sichuan province, 1 national specialty construction sites, 2 provincial specialty construction sites, 1 provincial teaching teams in Sichuan universities, and 1 innovative experimental zone of talent training mode in Sichuan universities. Applied chemistry, chemical engineering and technology are the construction projects of the education and training plan for outstanding engineers in Sichuan Province.
Since its establishment 29 years ago, the College has trained more than 6,000 undergraduates, 700 master students and 40 doctoral students. Graduates play an important role in China's oil and gas exploration and development, petroleum and natural gas chemical industry, ecological environment protection, chemistry and chemical industry, and are well received by employers. In recent years, the employment rate of graduates has stabilized at over 90%. There are 94 full-time teachers in the faculty 1 10. Among them, there are 20 professors and 40 associate professors. .
