Lai Ning's hometown asbestos mountain area is a fire danger zone. When Lai Ning was in primary school, he went up the mountain to put out the fire three times. At about 3: 38 pm on March 1988, a forest fire broke out in Haizishan, Shimian County due to short circuit of electric wires. The fire started with the wind, and suddenly the mountain fire was raging. Big forests, satellite TV relay stations and oil depots of oil companies are all facing great threats. Although dragged away by adults again and again, Lai Ning sneaked back to continue the fire, and the fire was finally put out. But Lai Ning is gone.
