On 20021April 19, an epidemic of COVID-19 infection occurred in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. The initial infection cases came from nucleic acid screening in xingqing district, Yinchuan City, Ningxia. Subsequently, the case spread to Hongsibao District, wuzhong City, Ningxia, which led to certain infection behavior.

In response to the epidemic situation, Ningxia launched a series of prevention and control measures, quickly organized forces to investigate close contacts, expanded the scope of nucleic acid testing, isolated cases, disinfected places and other measures. Up to now, the epidemic situation has been effectively controlled, and no new confirmed cases have appeared in Hongsibu District of Ningxia. By April 30th, 2002 1 year, there were 34 confirmed cases in the whole region, including asymptomatic infection1case, 33 cases were cured and discharged, and only1case was under treatment.

Generally speaking, the epidemic situation in Hongsibao District of Ningxia has been effectively controlled, but we still need to be vigilant, strengthen the monitoring, investigation and prevention of the epidemic situation, and resolutely prevent the spread of the virus.
