Xiangtan specialty 1: Yanglu Maojian
Yang Lu Maojian Tea is one of the famous teas in Yang Lu Tea Farm in Xiangtan County. Maojian tea is rich in protein, amino acids, alkaloids and other substances. Yang Lu brand series famous teas were developed in the late 1980s and formally formed in the mid-1990s. Yang Lu Maojian Tea is one of the four famous teas at the provincial level. Yang Lu Maojian won the national gold medal with 1995 and was recognized as a "famous brand product" by Xiangtan municipal government. In recent years, products are in short supply every year. In the 7th Hunan Tea Cup Appraisal in 2005, "Yang Lu Maojian" selected by Xiangtan County won the gold medal.

In the same year, it was awarded the quality product award by the National Tourism Administration.
Xiangtan specialty 4: Shi Mao braised pork
Shi Mao braised pork, also known as Maojia braised pork, is a famous traditional dish and belongs to Hunan cuisine. Shi Mao braised pork takes pork belly as the main raw material, and white sugar and cooking wine are colored seasonings. After cooking, the color is golden, oily but not greasy. Xianglian produced in Xiangtan County, Hunan Province, Jianlian produced in Jianning County, Fujian Province, and Xuanping produced in Wuyi County, Zhejiang Province are the most famous lotus seeds in China, known as the three lotus seeds in China. Among them, Xiang Lian is the most distinctive and has always been a treasure in the royal tribute, so it is also called "Gonglian" and is known as "the first lotus seed in China". Later, people gradually expanded the scope of three lotus seeds, and generally called Hunan lotus seeds "Xianglian".
