At the beginning of 2008, the slogan "Fortunately, there is a citizens' party" was changed. This idea was put forward by the former "young citizens" chairman Yu. Yu pointed out that the new slogan is catchy and deeply rooted in the hearts of the people, symbolizing that the Citizens Party is willing to enter the people, rather than a group of people pulling away.
There are three other sentences in the new slogan: "plead for the people, take responsibility bravely, and you and I will work together to build a democratic road and build a prosperous Hong Kong for the highway." Since the 2008 Legislative Council election, it has always been based on the principle of "fairness in the hearts of the people".
