A Brief Introduction of Huang Zi Huang Zi's Songs Representing Huang Zi
Huang is a famous educator and composer in modern China. His representative works include Song of Eternal Sorrow and Nostalgia. He put forward the slogan of establishing nationalized new music, and was regarded as the most influential founder of early music education in China. Brief introduction of Huang Zi Huang Zi (1904- 1938) was born in Chuansha, Jiangsu (now Shanghai). He was an important composer and music educator in China in 1930s. He studied composition at Oberlin College and Yale Conservatory of Music in his early years. After returning to China from 65438 to 0929, he taught in the Music Department of Shanghai Hujiang University and the Theoretical Composition Section of the National Conservatory of Music, and concurrently served as the Education Director of the Conservatory of Music. He is enthusiastic about music education and has trained many outstanding music talents. Huang is the most influential founder of early music education in China. Huang Zi's representative work, Huang Songzi, was the most creative and influential composer in the prosperous period of artistic song creation in 1930' s. His works include Nostalgia, Song of Resistance Against the Enemy, Gift to Soldiers of the Former Enemy, September 18th, Fluttering of Colorful Flags, Song of Eternal Sorrow, Song of Spring Thoughts, etc., including Homesickness, Song of Spring Thoughts, Three Wishes of Roses, Sleeping Lion and Fantasy of Scenery. When Huang Zi wrote artistic songs, he attached importance to the combination of lyrics and music, and was good at expressing the artistic conception of poetry with refined musical language. The lyrics are poetic and artistic.
