For example, everyone advocates hygiene and care for the environment, and some people respect it. In order to clean up, all the rubbish was thrown into the dump. In fact, many wastes are classified, discarded, discharged or recycled. Some can be recycled, such as scrap metal and plastics. Some must be recycled to eliminate or reduce their pollution to the environment or harm to the human body. If there are radioactive, toxic, corrosive, flammable and explosive wastes, they should not be thrown into the dustbin together with ordinary garbage.

This requires some scientific knowledge of environmental protection.

Another example is the wastewater discharged by two chemical companies. The water in wastewater contains some chemicals harmful to human health. Can not be directly discharged, must be purified to reduce the content of harmful substances before discharge. So what is the standard of this discharge content? This is not for the company to decide. Instead, it requires national or local laws and regulations to formulate a new standard, which is mandatory for all units and enterprises to strictly abide by. In order to meet this standard, enterprises and individual places must have septic tanks, sewage treatment systems, waste solid treatment systems and waste gas treatment systems, or invite qualified waste recycling companies to recycle them on their behalf. This requires a lot of financial, material and human input. Instead of letting some companies emit high, low and uneven hazardous waste. This will not achieve the real environmental protection effect.

Environmental rules and regulations are not static. It can be adjusted according to the improvement of the actual situation.
