Five hundred years ago, he was the beloved "the Monkey King". Five hundred years later, he became an extremely embarrassing "ape in the stone". Five hundred years ago, he was a fairy in the sky. Five hundred years later, he became a "prisoner" of the crime of folding merits. Five hundred years ago, he was a free "Sun Shengda". Five hundred years later, he became a "sun walker" to subdue demons.
He racked his brains and thought about it. What happened to him? As a result, he suddenly remembered the life-and-death gamble.
Buddha said: "I will make a bet with you;" If you dare to hit my right hand with a somersault, you will win. You don't have to fight hard. Ask the Jade Emperor to live in the Western Heaven and give you a heavenly palace. If you can't clap your hands, you're still a demon. If you rob it several times, you will argue. "
Suddenly, he had a flash of light, as if he had thought of something. It turned out that Tathagata lied to me. If you come to make a bet, you will win or lose. If he wins, he can stay in the heavenly palace and sit on the throne. If you lose, you don't have to be punished. You can also be a demon and start all over again. This kind of gambling, whether winning or losing, is beneficial to the Monkey King.
Therefore, the Monkey King was taken lightly and defenseless, and was taken in by the Tathagata. Tathagata's nonsense can replace the jade emperor, and even give up his punishment lightly, just to let him relax his vigilance and participate in gambling, because Tathagata has bigger tricks to come.
What is the big move? The big move is the Buddha's palm, because no matter whether the Monkey King loses or wins, he can't escape the Tathagata's palm. He finally understood that Tathagata wanted to cheat himself into his palm, but he had to deliver it to the door. This is called "the meat steamed stuffed bun hits the dog, which is gone forever."
"Winners and losers." The Monkey King also knows that he has committed a heinous crime and is unforgivable. Only by doing good deeds can we get rid of the crime of deceiving and confusing the monarch and restore the Monkey King's prestige.
Although the Tathagata coaxed him and put him under the Five Elements Mountain, in a sense, it was also a kind of protection for him.
"Put down the butcher knife and become a Buddha." He decided to enter the Buddha from the Tao, abandon evil and be good, and protect Tang Priest from learning from the West.
After 500 years of reflection, what did he understand?
You can't twist your legs with your arms. After reflection, he realized that Heaven is a monster and he is a buffoon. Rebellion without permission is tantamount to overreaching. "The emperor takes turns to do it and comes to my house next year." Such a reactionary slogan is nothing more than his wishful thinking and moaning without illness.
You can fight in groups and never fight one-on-one. After reflection, he realized that working alone could never be a team. So, fight if you win, run if you don't win, and don't carry it hard. Learn from the five groups, do their job, do their duty, and Qi Xin will work together to be indispensable. No matter how strong an individual is, he can't override teamwork.
You must have a backer to achieve great things. After reflection, he realized that if he wants to achieve something, he must find a backer. So, he partnered with his master and sought support. No matter how timid the Tang Priest is, we should do our best to protect him. If he has something to do, he will go to help. If he can't solve it himself, he will ask God for help. He will never do it desperately and blindly.
"You learn from your mistakes." Five hundred years of reflection has made the Monkey King's mind more and more mature. The road is at the foot, and the dream is in the distance. He made a comeback, regained his dream, and finally changed from a "loser" who dared to resist to a "winner" who learned to obey.
