Master Xuanzang was born in the early days of Li Tang. When the country is rich and the people are strong, the ambition of the master is also in full swing. The master went to the west alone to learn from the scriptures. There were no transportation facilities at that time, so he had to detour dozens of countries. It took 17 years to taste it hard, and finally accomplished an unprecedented feat with indomitable spirit. In the spring of the 19th year of Emperor Taizong's Zhenguan reign, he returned from studying in India and returned to Chang 'an with a full load. People in the Tang Dynasty sacrificed their lives to teach this, which is such an outstanding monk. Why didn't the ruling and opposition parties pay homage to Master Xuanzang at that time? Therefore, Tang was added to its name, so it was also called Tang Xuanzang, Tang Priest or Tang Sanzang. The original meaning of "Tang priest" is to be in charge of all the sangha in the Tang Dynasty. Because more than three monks can be called monks, Master Xuanzang touched the world in the process of learning the scriptures, so "Tang Priest" has become a slogan that people have admired for thousands of years. The title of "Tang Sanzang" is called "Tang Sanzang" because the three monks in Buddhism are classics, dharma and theory, which means that he is good at classics, dharma and theory and knows all Buddhist scriptures.
