Half-marathon circuit surrounds the Science City, with smooth roads, broad vision and tree-lined, which is very beneficial for athletes to play. The whole marathon starts from The Journey to the West, the science city, passes through "three bridges and three tunnels" and finally reaches the north gate of Guangzhou Knowledge City. The five wisdom trees on both sides of the north gate of the Knowledge City combine the shapes of Singapore's famous scenic spots "Super Tree" and Guangzhou's "Little Man's Waist", implying that the cooperation between China and Singapore in the Knowledge City is fruitful and has broad prospects.

This competition is sponsored by Huangpu District People's Government of Guangzhou and Guangzhou Development Zone Management Committee. According to the organizing committee, Guangzhou Huangpu Marathon has been very popular since 20 17. With professional event standards and distinctive track landscape, it has won the titles of "Bronze Event", "Silver Event" and "Most Beautiful Track Characteristic Event" of China Athletics Association, and was upgraded to "Gold Event" of China Athletics Association in 2020.

Introduction to Huangpu Marathon This year, Huangpu Marathon has added the phalanx of Huangpu Iron Army, Academician and Graduate School. High-end talents, young researchers and "learners" will all join the Huangpu running activity.

The organizing committee set up 500 public welfare places, and donated additional public welfare fees on the basis of the original registration fee. All the money raised by the public welfare fund will be donated to the "New China Sports Beauty Public Welfare Fund" established by the Guangdong Yangtze River Public Welfare Foundation, which will be used for poverty alleviation, school sports infrastructure construction in poverty-stricken areas, and the establishment of continuing education training classes for physical education. The whole marathon starts from The Journey to the West, the science city, passes through "three bridges and three tunnels" and finally reaches the north gate of Guangzhou Knowledge City. The end of the half marathon returns to the Green Axis Square in Science City, and the end of the mini marathon is located at Li Honger Road.
