"A strong man has a broken wrist, so he is named, and the princes will be good." This statement comes from Bobby Chen. In July of the first year of Qin Ershi, the imperial court recruited troops on a large scale to defend Yuyang, and Chen Sheng was among them. He and 900 other poor farmers, escorted by two Qin officials, went to Yuyang day and night. When traveling to osawa Township, Qixian County, the road was blocked by floods due to continuous heavy rain. Because according to Qin Liangfa, any soldier who is called to guard the border and fails to arrive at the designated place on time will be beheaded. Seeing that the deadline for reaching Yuyang was approaching, Chen Sheng called 900 soldiers and issued a powerful statement, which led to the first large-scale peasant uprising war in China history.
Daze Township Uprising, also known as "Chen Guang Uprising", was a part of the peasant war at the end of Qin Dynasty, which dealt a heavy blow to the Qin Dynasty and opened the prelude to the peasant uprising at the end of Qin Dynasty. This is the first large-scale civilian uprising in the history of China. Daze Township Uprising failed because of Chen Sheng's pride after seizing power and Qin General Zhang Han's suppression of Qin Jun.
