To draw these colors we feel and turn them into vivid pictures, we need to observe and study these color changes in nature scientifically, understand some basic laws of color changes, and show these phenomena and laws we observe on the picture with pigments and brushes-this is color sketch. Therefore, color sketching is one of the basic training for learning painting, and it is also a compulsory course for learning art. Moreover, color sketch itself is also one of the artistic expressions in painting.

Where is the "root" of painting?
Nowadays, more and more people are studying painting, and more and more books are published, and at the same time, they are becoming more and more superficial. Where did painting come from? Who invented painting? Why do you paint like this? Nobody cares about this, students don't care, and teachers don't care? It's true. It's really messy.
I don't want to go too far Now painting has become a science-art (this word only appears in 1999). The painting technology we are learning now is foreign technology, specifically European technology, so it is called western painting. This technique is very different from our oriental painting in China. It was founded in ancient Greece and perfected in the Italian Renaissance. /kloc-French impressionism completely solved the color problem in the 0/9th century, until all the fundamental problems of post-impressionist modeling were clarified. This is what we call realistic painting, also called classical painting.
This kind of painting was introduced into China late, and it has the appearance of 70 or 80 years. The interference and influence of the former Soviet Union in the 1950s really spread to us now, and some even called it "national wind". Up to now, our sketch system is basically from the former Soviet Union, which is a different "Soviet school". The post-impressionism advocated by our color teaching is the | "big color block" painting method. Our sketch is China's traditional line drawing. No wonder students can't figure out whether it is a cross line or a parallel line all day; Whether to use brush strokes or large color blocks; Whether to sketch with one line or with multiple lines. The teacher couldn't make it clear, so he had to fool the students into saying that art has no rules and is individual. Is this just a misunderstanding? It is black and white.
I didn't mean for students to learn ancient Greece. At least, I should let them know what we are doing and why we should draw plaster statues of ancient Greece. Why do we sketch; Why should we draw light and shade; Why do we use large color blocks? Guo Zhenshan, Liu Xiaodong and Zhou inherited the tradition of the ancients. If you don't know this, you can't learn it anyway.
Ancient Greek civilization is the lifeblood of western culture. Don't think that you will be famous and become a family with a big burden of an ancient civilization. Since we are learning from other people's technology, we should make clear the foundation as soon as possible, and have a hybrid, otherwise nothing good will come out.
