Hoh Xil is a nature reserve with well-preserved original ecological environment in the world, located in the west of Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Qinghai Province, with a total area of 45,000 square kilometers. It is one of the largest nature reserves built in China and has been listed in the World Heritage List.
Hoh Xil Nature Reserve is located in Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in southwest Qinghai. It is an alpine platform spanning Qinghai, Xinjiang and Tibet. The reserve borders Tibet in the west, Golmud Tanggula Township in the south, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in the north and Qinghai-Tibet Highway in the east, with a total area of 45,000 square kilometers.
Small and medium-sized rolling hills in Kekexili Mountain, high-altitude wide-valley lake basin from Wulan Lake in Xijin to Chuma River, and small and medium-sized rolling hills from Dongbule Mountain to Wulan Wula Mountain.
