The General Assembly heard the report on the work and role of the International Democratic Women's Federation, considered its work contents and methods, adopted new articles of association, adopted resolutions such as 199 1- 1994, and elected a new leading body.

The International Democratic Women's Federation has been a member of United Nations non-governmental organizations since 1947, and enjoys consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council, UNESCO, UNICEF and FAO. She enjoys consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations, and sent representatives to attend the three World Conferences on Women held in Mexico City in 1975, Copenhagen in 1980 and Nairobi in 1985 respectively. Participated in all meetings of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women and the Commission on Human Rights.
