Lan Caihe, whose name is Botong, was one of the Eight Immortals in China folk and Taoist legends from 6 15 -760. He was born in the Tang Dynasty. He was born in Fengyang, Anhui Province, and was born in Qinghai, Qinghai Lake and Kunlun Mountain. Darkmouth in Nomuhong is his birthplace. He was born in Shilongmen, an ancient town in Tanghe, and Lu You lived in Nantang.

According to the existing family tree of Lan, Lan Caihe is the eldest grandson of Lan Jiadi 109, his father is Lan Mingde, his mother is Chen, and his wife is Yue. He has three sons, Benren, Benjun and Benxin. He often wears out his blue shirt, wears boots on one foot and travels around the world with a castanet.

Lan Caihe drank a lot, but he was not drunk. He is proficient in wine-making skills, making his own wine and drinking it, and brewing his own blue wine. Lan Caihe is also the most authoritative person in the wine industry in China.

Cai has been smart since childhood and has a similar temperament. He is determined to study and get excellent grades. In the first year of kaiyuan in Xuanzong of Tang dynasty (7 13), he was admitted as a scholar and served as a doctor of admonition. He married the Yue family and gave birth to three children, the name of the eldest son. After Benren was renamed, the second and third sons were Benjun and Benxin respectively, and both died young. He has been an official for several years, honest and clean.

Yang, a powerful minister, was angered. He bluntly suggested that the imperial court stop building the Palace for rejuvenating the country, reduce taxes, sympathize with the people and help the victims. At the age of 26, he was stripped of his official hat and returned to his hometown. At the beginning of the second year, he went to Zhong Nanshan to practice in seclusion and was refined into Luo Xianweng. After that, there was no news, and my family didn't know where to go. Since then, there have been various myths and rumors in the world.

There is a place called Heifengkou in Haixi Prefecture, Qinghai Province. Lan Caihe lived and settled here for many years after he got the word. He used various wild plants in Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and Qaidam Basin, such as Lycium barbarum and Nitraria tangutorum, to brew his own wine, so that he was drunk but not drunk. His surname is Lan, and the color of the wine turned blue-purple, so he named it Blue Wine.

It was first seen in Shen Fen's Fairy Biography in the Southern Tang Dynasty. He is often in rags, with boots on one foot and shoes on the other. In summer, he is covered with sheep. In winter, he lies in the snow and breathes the hot air. Lan Caihe often sang songs with a big bangzi more than three feet long in the city of Haozhou (now Fengyang, Anhui), which seemed to be drunk, and heaven and earth could become geometry.

Lan Caihe ranks sixth in the Eight Immortals. The Eight Immortals in China folklore are Han Zhongli, Zhang, He Xiangu, Lan Caihe, Han Xiangzi and Uncle Cao.

Some studies believe that the word Eight Immortals existed in the Han and Six Dynasties, and originally referred to a group of immortals fantasized by immortals since the Han and Jin Dynasties. Until the Tang Dynasty, the Eight Immortals were just an empty noun.

The specific figures of the Eight Immortals were not officially confirmed until Wu Yuantai's Travels to the East and Tang Xianzu's Handan in the middle of the Ming Dynasty. According to the textual research of the earliest historical materials of Hua Xuanju, it is said that at the invitation of Li Xuanzhi in the four years of the Northern Song Dynasty, Gander formed the Eight Immortals after meeting in Sun Shi Mountain, and then there were the Eight Immortals. In fact, immortals are celebrities who died after making contributions to the people.

There is a folk saying that local officials surnamed Luo basically do practical things for the people, perhaps it is just a prejudice, or perhaps it is the earliest prototype of the fairy Luo.
