The realization of socialism needs the great development of social productive forces, the great enrichment of material resources and the great improvement of people's thinking. It should be said that this is a very arduous task, and it is still quite far away at present. However, after the socialist transformation was completed in New China, especially after the 20th Congress of the Soviet Union, the national leaders and ordinary people in China generally ignored our national conditions and put forward the realization of * * * socialism as a realistic task, which caused great losses to the country's economic construction and people's lives.
