Giotto di bondone, an Italian painter, sculptor and architect, is known as the pioneer of the Italian Renaissance and the "father of European painting". In English, just like in Chinese, just call him Giotto, Giotto. Art historians believe that Giotto should be his real name, not the abbreviation of Ambroggio or Angelo.
Cezanne has profound classical cultural accomplishment, and western painting has established a perfect painting system from early Giotto to Cezanne. Cezanne, as a post-impressionist painter, sketched with pissarro and other painters in his early years and was influenced by impressionist painting. Later, he was dissatisfied with the impressionist painting method, thinking it was too natural and superficial, and returned to his hometown to explore his own painting path alone.
Cezanne looked at the world from the perspective of geometry, and simplified the induction of objects with geometry. The realism of traditional painting has taken a back seat in his painting. He does not pursue the realistic effect, but pursues a rational and orderly framework in essence to achieve the heavy feeling of the picture, emphasizing the purity of painting, the eternity and firmness of the body.
In color shaping, he pays attention to the control of structure, direction and rhythm, and his pen must be neat. In composition, he pays attention to the open spatial structure, draws images in an abstract way of thinking, eliminates tedious details, and forms an orderly picture with scattered videos.
Cezanne introduced
French post-impressionist painter Paul Cézanne.
His works and thoughts influenced many artists and artistic movements in the 20th century, especially cubism. For most of his life, his art was not understood and accepted by the public. Through his persistence, he finally challenged the value of all conventional paintings in the19th century.
Cezanne's greatest achievement is that he has an unprecedented incisive analysis of color and light and shade, subverting the previous visual perspective, and the structure of space is separated from the impression of mixed colors, which makes the painting field formally appear pure art, which is impossible for any painting school in the past. Therefore, he is known as "the father of modern art".
He thinks that shape and color are inseparable. Draw a plane with geometric strokes and gradually form the surface of the painting. He advocated that objects should not be represented by lines and light and shade, but by color contrast. He used color blocks to express the three-dimensional sense and depth of objects, used color changes in temperature to shape them, and used geometric elements to construct images.
